Assembling/Disassembling the mixing unit / travel cup
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off (0-Position).
- Srew the blade assembly (3) onto the mixing unit/travel cup (1).
- Assemble the mixing unit/travel cup (1) properly onto the motor block (4). Pay attention to the lock symbol on the motor block (3) as well as to the arrow on the blade attachment (2). Press it slightly down and turn it clockwise until it is securely engaged. If the mixing unit is not properly positioned, the appliance cannot be switched on.
- To disassemble the complete mixing unit (1) from the motor block (4), only turn the blade assembly (3) into anti- clockwise direction and never the mixing unit. Otherwise, the mixing unit/travel cup (1) will get detached and the ingredients will spill. Lock the blade assembly in clockwise direction LOCK direction UNLOCK direction26 Operation Your Smoothie Maker can be used for processing small amounts of foods, e.g. smoothies, milk shakes, pureeing, crushing ice cubes etc. If you don’t have any crushed ice on hand, you can also use ice cubes. But, make sure, to only use 4 ice cubes (e.g. 25 g) at a time, to avoid damage to the appliance! Always make sure that during operation the mixing unit/travel cup is properly attached! Safety Switch Safety Switch: This appliance has an integrated safety switch and can only be switched on when the mixing unit is properly positioned onto the motor unit. How to use the Smoothie Maker If you wish to process/blend solid ingredients, cut them into pieces (1cm – 2 cm) first. Only place small quantities of food/ingredients into the mixing unit (1) at a time. Always pour the liquid into the mixing unit first, before adding the solid ingredients. The recommended max. level is 600 ml/20 oz.
- Put the prepared ingredients (fruits, vegetables, juices) into the mixing unit (1). Always make sure, to add the liquids first.
- Screw the blade assembly (3) properly onto the mixing unit/travel cup (1).

- Connect the appliance to a properly installed wall socket and switch it on by choosing the desired speed setting (1 - low, 2 - high or P - Pulse).
- When processing solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the Smoothie Maker in impulse mode (P-setting) to prevent the blades from becoming stuck.
- Once the ingredients have reached the desired consistency, stop the blending process and remove the mixing unit (1) as explained under Assembling/Disassembling the mixing unit / travel cup.

- After use always switch the appliance off (5) (0-settig) and remove it from the mains.
