Is the Digipower RF24H34 battery compatible with my GoPro Hero4?

Yes, it is designed for GoPro Hero4, Hero3+ and Hero3. For Hero3, you must use a waterproof housing designed for Hero3+/4.

How to charge the Action Pack battery?

Connect the micro USB cable to the included wall charger. The LED indicators on the back blink during charging and turn off when it is complete.

What is the battery life of the RF24H34?

Battery life depends on the recording resolution. With a Class 10 memory card, it can provide up to 24 hours of recording at low resolution, but 4K videos reduce battery life.

Is the battery waterproof?

Yes, it is IP68 certified, dust and waterproof up to 40 meters for more than 3 hours.

How to check the remaining charge level?

Gently shake the battery: the LED indicators light up to show the level. One blinking LED means less than 5%, one solid LED means 5-32%, two LEDs mean 33-66%, three LEDs mean more than 66%.

Can I use the battery without an internal battery in the camera?

Yes, but if an internal battery is installed, it must be partially charged, otherwise the camera will not work.

What type of memory card is recommended?

A Class 10 memory card is recommended for optimal performance. A Class 6 card is the minimum required.

Does the battery heat up during use?

Yes, the device and the camera may heat up during prolonged use. Handle them with care.

What to do if the LEDs do not light up?

Make sure the battery is charged. If it is discharged, plug it into the charger. If still nothing, contact customer service.

What is the warranty of the Digipower RF24H34 battery?

USING THE ACTION PACK IN 3 EASY STEPS

1. Open the GoPro housing so that the back is at a 90 degree angle to the camera body. Pull straight down to remove it.

2. Attach the ACTION PACK to the case at a 90 degree angle to the camera body. Gently snap it in place.

3. Close and latch the Actian Parbody of the camera case.

Important note for Hero 3 users:

The waterproof housing for the Hero3 is larger than it is for the Hero3+/4. The waterproof housing from the Hero3+/4 is required to use the Action Pack.

Connect the micro USB cable from the ACTION PACK to the USB wall charger. The LEDs (located on the back of the case) will turn on to indicate the pack is being charged.

CHECKING THE BATTERY POWER LEVEL

This battery has a built in shake switch, shake once to check the battery level status. The LEDs will turn off after 3 seconds.

When the pack is connected to the camera and the camera is turned on the LEDs will remain lit to indicate the remaining power level. When the pack runs out of power the last LED will blink rapidly 3 times then shutoff.

Important note: For the most accurate reading of how much power remains in the ACTION PACK do not reference the LCD display on the camera. For remaining capacity check the LEDs on the ACTION PACK.

Please Note:

1. A Class 10 video card will provide the best performance and run times, a minimum of class 6 is required. Look for a number inside the letter C on the front of the card.
2. Shooting at higher resolutions like 4K video will result in less run time because it uses more power.
3. The ActionPack can be used without the internal camera battery installed but if the internal battery is installed it must have some charge or the camera will not turn on.
4. The ActionPack and the camera itself can get hot when used for long periods of time, use care when handling.
5. All models of the ACTION PACK have been tested and approved to IEC standard IP68 for water and dust ingress. It is completely dust proof and is waterproof to depth of 40 meter for over 3 hours of continuous use.
