1 Safety

Please read the safety instructions carefully before first commissioning and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper environmental conditions. Keep them for later reference.
Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit in case of suspected damage; instead, consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored in a place accessible to young children, but must be disposed of properly.
This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property due to improper or incorrect use.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised and have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the dangers involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm.
Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user and any tampering will result in the warranty being rejected.
- Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

Warning: This heater is equipped with a thermostat to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

- In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- The product cannot be used outdoors.
- Any item covering or blocking the fireplace vent in any way is prohibited as it might lead to overheating of the fireplace.
- It should be ensured that furniture, curtains or flammable materials are at least 1 metre away from the fireplace.
- Cut off the power immediately if there is something wrong.
- Please unplug the device, if it is not used for a long time.
- Please do not put the power cord on the front of the fireplace.
- Although the device complies with the safety standards, we do not recommend to use it on multi-use carpets or carpets with long hair.
- Dispose of the package in a thoughtful way. Plastic packaging material may cause environmental pollution.
- The fireplace must be used with the AC voltage rating.

3 Overheating Safety Device
Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches off the heater in case of overheating. If the heater stops working, turn the heater off, disconnect the plug and check the inlet and the outlet for any blocking object. Wait for at least 10 minutes before attempting to restart the heater. If the safety device still switches the heater off and makes the heater fail to operate, take the heater to your nearest service centre for examination or repair.
4 Cleaning
- Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the heater by wiping it with a damp or dry cloth.
- Do not use petroleum, any other detergent or chemical solvent to clean the heater.
- When the heater is not used for a long time, it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean, dry place.
5 Warranty / Disposal / Technical change
Warranty
The product is checked just before delivery. If, despite that, your product is defective, please contact the seller. You will need to present your receipt, as this must be submitted for each warranty claim. The warranty period is 24 months from date of purchase.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of properly. The device can be returned free of charge to the retailer for disposal.

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ELECTRICAL PART OF THE PRODUCT
In accordance with Article 26 of the Decree-Law of 14 March 2014 implementing Directive 2012/19/EC, and the Law of 4 March 2014 implementing Directive 2011/65/EC on the reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and on waste management.

The user must therefore take the device to the appropriate collection points at the end of its service life. Single-use and rechargeable batteries contain substances that are highly polluting for the environment. The user is obliged to dispose of used batteries at collection points in the municipality or in appropriate containers. This service is free. In this way, legal requirements are adhered to and the environment protected.
