How to install the RMML micro receiver?

Cut the power at the circuit breaker. Insert the cables into the terminal block (phase and neutral) by pressing the top of the terminal block with a screwdriver. Deploy the antenna for optimal reception. Follow the installation diagrams depending on whether it is a light fixture or a socket.

How to program the micro receiver with a transmitter?

Perform a reset: long press with a paperclip in the PROG hole until green LED, then release. Then, short press so the LED flashes green. Press a button on the transmitter; the LED turns off, confirming programming.

Why does the LED not light up?

Check that the mains power is present and that the power is restored. If the LED remains off, the receiver may be defective or incorrectly wired. Make sure the phase and neutral are properly connected.

What is the maximum supported power?

The RMML supports up to 1000 W for incandescent and halogen lamps. For LED and energy-saving bulbs, the maximum power is lower; consult the ebode knowledge base.

Can I use multiple transmitters with one receiver?

Yes, the RMML can memorize as many transmitters as needed. Follow the programming procedure for each transmitter.

How to reset the micro receiver?

Insert a paperclip into the PROG hole and hold until the LED lights up green, then release. The LED will flash orange, indicating the receiver is empty.

What to do if the installation does not work?

First check that the power is cut and then properly restored. Make sure the connections are tight and the antenna is deployed. Try reprogramming the receiver with the transmitter.

Is the receiver compatible with LED bulbs?

Yes, the RMML is compatible with LED bulbs, as well as energy-saving, halogen, and incandescent bulbs. Respect the indicated maximum power.

Can the receiver be controlled remotely from a remote control?

Yes, the RMML works with remote controls and micro transmitters from the ebode home automation range. Program the receiver with your remote control as described.

Is there a risk of electric shock?

Yes, because the device is connected to 230 V mains. Never open the casing. Any intervention must be carried out by a professional. Always cut the power before installing or handling the receiver.

INSTALLATION

• The LIVE and the NEUTRAL wires are essential.
• For a remote-controlled socket verify the thickness of the back of the socket, add 25mm in order to define the minimum depth of the wall box.

Connect only one light to the socket without using multi-socket converters to avoid a cumulative power drain.

Do not connect more lights as the total permitted amount of wattage allows.

1. CAUTION: Shut off power to the circuit in the electrical panel.

1. With the aid of a screwdriver press on the top of the terminal board and insert the cables (for the light fixture see diagram 1, for the power socket see diagram 2). Then verify the connections by pulling lightly on the wires.
2. Pull out the antenna as far as you can for better reception.

PROGRAMMING

The Micro Transmitter commands must be recognized in order to add the Micro Receiver to a different installation from the original or to one with interference from a nearby system.

1. Proceed to make a "Reset". Press down and hold the button in the (PROG) opening with a paper clip until the LED lights up GREEN, then release it. The LED should flash YELLOW: the Micro Receiver now has no code.
2. With the paper clip, press down briefly in the (PROG) opening. The LED will flash GREEN and wait for a command from a Micro Transmitter or remote control switch.
3. Press one of the buttons on the Micro Transmitter or the remote control switch: the Micro Receiver LED will stop blinking, confirming it has received the command. The programming is done!

REMARKS

The RMML Micro Receiver will remember as many Micro-Transmitters and remote control switches as necessary.

VERIFICATION

Verify On/Off switch operation.

You must wait about a second between each On / Off command.

When changing the battery, the registered code will be retained by the Micro Transmitter.
