Should I preheat the oven before first use?

Yes, heat the empty oven at 230°C for 15 minutes with both heating elements on to remove manufacturing odors. Slight smoke may appear, this is normal.

What do the different positions of the function selector mean?

The selector allows you to choose the heat source: top heat for grilling, bottom heat for baking, both combined for roasting or baking pizzas, and OFF to turn off.

How to set the temperature and cooking time?

Turn the thermostat to the desired temperature (up to 230°C) and the timer to the desired time. The oven shuts off automatically at the end of the time.

Can I use metal or glass containers in this oven?

Yes, you can use containers suitable for oven heat. Avoid plastic or non-resistant wooden containers. The provided wire rack and baking tray are recommended.

How to clean the inside of the oven?

The interior is coated with a self-cleaning lining. Clean it with a sponge or damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a special oven cleaner.

Are the accessories dishwasher safe?

Yes, the wire rack, baking tray, and handle can be washed in the dishwasher or in hot soapy water.

What distance should I leave between the oven and walls or combustible objects?

Leave a space of at least 50 cm around the oven to avoid fire risk. The oven must not be built in.

Why does the indicator light turn off and on during cooking?

This is normal: the light indicates that the oven is heating. It turns off when the set temperature is reached and turns back on to maintain heat.

What to do if the oven does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and the power outlet is live. Make sure the timer is set to a duration and not to the off position. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

How to use the provided handle?

The upper clip (A) is used to grasp the baking tray, the lower clip (B) is used to grasp the wire rack. Always use it to remove hot accessories.

Warranty regulations
TOMADO provides a 2-year warranty for all defects caused by hidden deficiencies which render the appliance unusable.
- The warranty runs from the date of purchase; we advise you to carefully save your receipt.
- Within the warranty period any defects in production or material will be resolved free of charge, by means of repurchase, replacement of parts or replacement of the appliance as a whole.
- The warranty certificate has to be filled in by the sales person at the moment of purchase.
- Reports will only be made under warranty in case it can be proven by means of a filled in warranty card and the receipt that the day the complaint is filed falls into the warranty period.
- The warranty does not apply when defects or damages result from an accident, misuse, negligence [e.g. incorrect cleansing], or when repairs of alterations have been executed outside the authorized TCNADO service centre.

OPERATION

This oven is suitable for roasting, baking and toasting. Temperature, function and time are easily adjustable using the knobs at the front of the oven. The supplied rock and roasting tin allow you to create the ideal oven for your home.

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove all packaging from the appliance.

• Leave the oven to warm up at a temperature of 230^ C
