How to reset the Smanos SR1000 camera?

Press and hold the provided reset pin into the reset hole until you hear a beep. The red LED will then flash.

How to connect the camera to my Wi-Fi network?

After reset, search for the Wi-Fi network named 'smanos IP6' on your phone and connect. Open the IP6 Camera app, tap '+', give the camera a name, enter the password (default 88888), then your home Wi-Fi network name and password. The blue LED turns on when connection is established.

What to do if the camera does not beep during reset?

Make sure to press the reset pin for at least 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, check that the camera is powered on and the pin is inserted correctly.

How to format a micro-SD card for the camera?

It is recommended to format the micro-SD card before first use if it already contains files. Insert the card into a computer or adapter, format it as FAT32, then insert it into the camera when turned off.

Can I use a micro-SD card larger than 32 GB?

No, the camera only supports micro-SD cards up to 32 GB. Using a larger capacity card may not be recognized.

How to share access to my camera with a friend?

In the app, go to the camera settings. Generate the QR code and send it to your friend. They can scan this code with the IP6 Camera app to view the stream.

What is the default password of the camera?

The default password is 88888. It is strongly recommended to change it after pairing for security reasons.

How to change the camera password?

In the app, open the camera settings and look for the 'Password' option. Enter the old password (default 88888) then the new password.

Does the camera record continuously?

Yes, the camera automatically records in 20-minute cycles. When the micro-SD card is full, the oldest recordings are overwritten by the newest ones.

How to mount the camera on the wall?

Detach the mounting template under the camera by pressing the clip. Attach the template to the wall with the provided screws, then snap the camera onto the template and adjust the angle.

This camera automatically records and saves video once every 20 minutes; the video recorded at the earliest will be replaced with the latest ones if the microSD card is full.

Download the App

Download the App by searching "IP6 camera" from Apple Store or Google Play.

If you also bought a smanos alarm system, you don't need to download the separate app for the camera, just setup through the app for the alarm system.

WiFi Pairing

1.Preparation

Hold the reset button by using the supplied reset pin until the camera beeps once, and then the red indicator starts to blink

Find and choose the WiFi named "smanos IP6" from your phone's WiFi list

2. Pairing Camera with WiFi through App

• Launch the App, and then tap [+ to add a new camera

Name your camera, enter the password (default: 88888) and input your home WiFi name & password

• When the blue indicator is on, it means the camera has connected with WiFi

before tapping [OK].

The paired camera will be displayed in the video list.

Note: For safety, it is recommended to change the password of your camera on the setting menu after pairing.

Share or Stop Sharing Camera with Your Friends

Tap and save the QR code icon on your camera's [Settings] interface, send to your friends so they can watch your camera from his/her App by scanning the given QR code.

If you want to stop sharing the camera, please change the password of camera.

Password

All the successfully paired phones have the same authority as administrator who can view and set the camera (including changing the password), so it is recommended to pair the phones of users with caution. For non-administrator users, you can share the camera by sending the QR code for them to scan.

Sync the Date and Time

Check if the camera's date and time are set correctly. Sync them with your phone's time if necessary.

Installation

Important: This camera should be placed where the WiFi signal is strong for optimal performance.

1. Separate the mounting template on the bottom of this camera from the bracket by pressing the snap as picture shows
2. Mount the template on the wall by using the supplied screws
3. Push and press the bracket of the camera into the template carefully, and then adjust the angle to achieve best shooting effect
