1 safety instructions
Important safety instructions - read carefully and keep for later use!

WARNING
- Failure to observe the information provided below van lead to personal injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information is not only intended to protect your health and the health of others, it should also protect the product. Therefore, observe this safety information and pass these instructions together with the product.
- This foot warmer must not be used by people who are not sensitive to heat or by vulnerable people who may not be able to react to overheating.
- This foot warmer may not be used by very young children (0-3 years old) due to their inability to react to overheating.
- This foot warmer may not be used by young children (3-8 years old) unless the controller has been pre-set by a parent or guardian and unless the child has been adequately instructed how to operate the foot warmer safely.
- This foot warmer may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the foot warmer. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- This foot warmer is not intended for use in hospitals.
- This foot warmer must not be used to keep animals warm.
- Do not use this foot warmer with shoes.
- Do not insert needles.
- Do not use folded or bunched up.
- Do not use if wet.
- The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this foot warmer may interfere with the function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well within the limits: electrical field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic
field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla. Please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this foot warmer.
- Do not pull, twist or make sharp bends in the cables.
- This foot warmer must be examined frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the foot warmer has been mis-used or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
- If the mains connection cable of the foot warmer is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- When in use, the electronic components in the controll of the foot warmer make the controll slightly warm. The controll should therefore never be covered or placed on the foot warmer when it is in operation.

This foot warmer is intended only for heating human feet.
4 operation
4.1 Safety

CAUTION
This foot warmer is fitted with the INVENTUM SAFETY SYSTEM (ISS). This electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the foot warmer from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches off the foot warmer automatically as a result of a fault, the settings are no longer illuminated even when the foot warmer is switched on. Please note that, after a fault has occurred, the foot warmer can no longer be used for safety reasons and must be sent to the service address indicated.
4.2 Initial use
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
4.3 Switching on
To switch on the foot warmer, set the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to setting 1, 2 or 3. The temperature setting is illuminated when switched on.
4.4 Setting the temperature
Setting 0: OFF
Setting1: minimum heat
Setting 2: medium heat
Setting 3: maximum heat

NOTE
• The fastest way to heat up the foot warmer is to select the highest temperature setting of the controller, first.

NOTE
- This foot warmer has a fast heating function, which allows the foot warmer to warm up faster in the first 10 minutes.


WARNING
If the foot warmer is used continuously (for several hours) it is recommended to use the lowest setting (1) of the control to avoid overheating of the feet of the user, which may lead to burns to the skin.
4.5 Automatic switch off
This foot warmer is equipped with an automatic switch-off function. This turns off the heat supply approx. 90 minutes after the initial use of the foot warmer. The temperature setting display then starts to flash. So that the foot warmer can be switched back on, the sliding switch for ON/OFF and temperature setting must first be set to setting O (OFF). After about 5 seconds it is possible to switch it on again.

4.6 Switching off
To switch off the foot warmer, set the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to setting 0 (OFF). The temperature settings are then no longer illuminated.

NOTE
If the foot warmer is not in use, switch the sliding switch for ON/OFF and temperature settings to setting 0 (OFF) and unplug the mains plug from the socket.
5 cleaning & maintenance

WARNING
Before cleaning, always remove the mains plug from the socket first. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.

CAUTION
- The controller must never get in contact to water or other liquids. Otherwise, the controller may be damaged.
To clean the controller, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Small marks on the foot warmer can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge, or if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate laundry.

CAUTION
- Please note that the foot warmer may not be washed, chemically cleaned, wrung out, tumble dried, put through a mangle or ironed. Failure to do so may damage the foot warmer.
The removable fleece lining can be washed by hand.
Use a delicate laundry detergent and measure it out according to the manufacturer's instructions.

WARNING
- Only use the foot warmer again once the foot warmer and fleece insert have fully dried. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.

6 storage
If you do not plan to use the foot warmer for a long period of time, we recommend that you store it in the original packaging.

CAUTION
Please allow the foot warmer to cool down first. Otherwise, the foot warmer may be damaged. To avoid sharp folds in the foot warmer, do not place any objects on top of it while it is being stored.
7 disposal

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.

- Guarantee can only be given if proof of purchase (e.g. till receipt) can be shown. Therefore keep it in a safe place. The guarantee period starts at date of purchase.
• Guarantee is not valid in case of:
- normal wear;
- damage through misuse use or when the instructions were not followed correctly;
- lack of maintenance;
- not following the operation- and safety instructions;
- incompetent montage or repairs made by yourself or others;
- using accessories and spare parts which are not suitable for the appliance;
for assessment by our technical department.
• The guarantee is not valid for:
- normal wear;
- external cables;
- (interchangeable) signal- and controllamps

When the guarantee is no longer valid or when the period of guarantee has passed, we will charge any costs that flow out of an assessment and/or repairing.
On request we will supply a statement before repairing. Without requesting a statement, we assume that you, by sending the appliance, automatically order to repair the appliance.
A guarantee period of two months is valid for repairs done by our technical department and the used spare parts, counting from the repairdate. When a malfunction occurs within this period which directly flows out of the repairs and the used spare parts, the consumer has the right of repairs without any costs.
