TILT PROTECTION

UNOLD 86410 - TILT PROTECTION - 1

When you lightly shake the appliance you will hear a noise coming from the interior of the appliance. This is caused by

the tilt protection technology used; there is no defect in the appliance!

The tilt protection switches the appliance off immediately, as soon as the appliance tilts to a position where safe operation is in jeopardy.

THE IDEAL LOCATION

  1. Maintain an adequate safety distance (at least 1 meter) to other objects, such as furniture, curtains, etc.
  2. Only place the appliance in operation in a vertical position.
  3. Ensure that air can flow in and out unhindered - do not, under any circumstances, cover the air inlets of the appliance.
  4. Only place the appliance on a solid and level substrate. Do not place the appliance on soft surfaces (sofa, bed) because the appliance can tip over.
  5. In addition, ensure that the appliance is not set up on deep-pile carpets or in dusty environments.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR OPERATION

  1. Ensure that you have selected a safe location.

  4. Select the desired temperature level on the rotary regulator.

Heating mode

"Low, for lower heating temperatures (1,200 watt)

  1. Then select the desired temperature on the rotary thermostat regulator. The regulator is variably adjustable.

CLEANING AND CARE

We guarantee our appliances for 24 months, or in case of commercial use for 12 months, from the date of purchase in case of defects that occur during normal use and are demonstrably due to a factory fault. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option.

Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties.

Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
