When this happens, unplug the fryer from the network, wait for the oil to cool and reactivate the thermal protection device by pressing the button (located inside the hole) with a pencil or similar object.

FILLING THE OIL CONTAINER
- Make sure that the removable tank, the temperature and resistance selector set 10 are correctly connected to the tank support 6.
- Pour oil into the interior of the tank, the oil level must be between the MIN and MAX marks on the wall of the tank.
- Before each use you should check the oil level and add when necessary.
- Use recommended oil for frying and do not mix different types of oils. Also, under no circumstances do you use other types of oils (not recommended), as there could be a risk of fire, smoke, etc.
Note:
Never start the fryer without oil or with an oil level below the MIN minimum level, as this could damage the resistance. Also, do not put any other liquid other than oil such as water or other liquids in the oil container.
PREHEATING
- The fryer should be placed on a dry, stable and level surface, out of reach of children and away from possible splashing of water or sources of heat.
- Check that the oil level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the wall of the tank.
- Remove the basket 4 and insert the food, (see the section Preparing the basket), if you wish you can support the basket on the edge of the tank by means of the hook located on the side of the basket.
- Plug the fryer into a mains socket, the power indicator 1 will light up.
- Turn the temperature selector 2 to the desired position (see frying table section).
- The oil temperature indicator 3 will illuminate, and when the oil is at the selected temperature this indicator will turn off.
PREPARATION OF THE BASKET
- Place the food to be fried in the bottom of the basket 4, ensuring that these do not occupy more than 2/3 of its total capacity.
- For best results, introduce dry ingredients into the basket. This is especially important with potatoes, always dry them before frying.
- Cut the food into pieces of the same size, in this way they will fry evenly. Avoid pieces that are too thick.
- Remove existing pieces of ice in frozen foods before introducing them into the fryer.
Note:
Not all frozen foods are ready for use. Check the instructions of the manufacturer of the frozen product.
FRYING OF FOOD
- When setting the temperature selector 2, the oil temperature indicator 3 will remain illuminated until the oil reaches the selected temperature.
- Slowly insert the basket 4 (with the food to be fried) in the oil, in this way oil splashes will be avoided.
- To avoid splashing oil and reduce odors considerably, place the lid on the fryer.
Note:
During the frying process, it is normal for the oil temperature indicator 3 to turn on and off, this means that the oil has reached the selected temperature and that the thermostat is controlling the temperature of the oil.
Attention:
Be careful with the metal surfaces of the fryer during use as they will be hot. Hold the lid only by the handle.
EXTRACT FOOD FROM THE FRYER
- When the frying time has elapsed, lift the basket 4. This has an anchor to be able to support it on the edge of the container 6. Place it and let drain the food.
- So that the fried foods are very crispy, remove the basket from the tub as soon as the frying is finished.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
How to extract the oil container
Attention:
Whenever you handle the fryer, make sure it is disconnected from the mains socket and that the oil is completely cold.
To remove the oil container, proceed as follows:
- Remove the lid and remove the basket 4.
- Carefully take the temperature and resistance selector set 10 and pull it up until it is completely free of the guides. This set consists of several pieces, some of them electric, so never immerse in water or wash this piece. The only part that can be cleaned with a cloth or kitchen paper is resistance. Be sure not to damage the resistance.
- Take the tank and remove it completely from the support of the tank 6.
- Once the tank has been cleaned or emptied, proceed to place all the pieces in the reverse order described.
Oil filtration and storage
The oil should be filtered regularly. The remains that come off the food tend to burn and alter the quality and taste of the oil more quickly.
- Once the oil is cold, pour it into a container by passing it through a colander.
- Clean the inside of the tub.
- Leave the oil in the tank of the fryer or if you prefer to store it for later use, pour it into an airtight container (this last process is recommended if you do not use the fryer very often). It is not necessary to store the oil in the refrigerator, simply store it in a place away from sources of light and heat.
Change of oil
Do not pour used oil into the sink, sink, etc. This oil is harmful to the environment. Also, do not throw it into organic garbage, follow the recycling rules established by the waste collection services in your area. The duration of the oil depends on the type and quality of it. Remember that "clean" oil maintains the taste and purity of the food.
Cleaning
- Clean the fryer both inside and outside regularly.
- Wipe the outside of the fryer with a damp cloth and dry with a clean, dry cloth. Never use sponges or abrasive detergents.
-
The basket and handle can be washed in hot, soapy water. Dry them well before using them again.
-
When you change the oil, you can use it to clean the tank. Clean the interior with absorbent paper, then with a cloth soaked in soapy water and finally wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry.
- All parts, with the exception of the temperature and resistance selector set 10, can be washed with hot soapy water. Dry them well before use.
- Washing in the dishwasher is not recommended.
Cleaning the smoke filter
The fryer has an anti-smoke filter that is located inside a compartment in the top cover. For cleaning, remove the filter cover 7 (pushing the flap backwards and pulling it upwards) and pour hot soapy water over it. Then rinse it with warm water and once it is completely dry, put the assembly back in its location.
