If you need to give the jug a deep clean you may need a BL1200 jug spanner to open the blade part. This is available from www.duronic.com10 FAQ Can the base of the jug be opened for extra cleaning? This is possible, however it is not recommended. If the base of the jug is opened, then the seal is weakened which may result to leakage. We advise using the auto clean function to clean the blender. Once cleaned, allow the jug to completely dry up before storing away for future use. We advise storing the jug away with the lid separated as leaving the lid on will trap moisture and will leave your jug with a slight odour of the food which you blended. However, If in the case there is no choice but to clean the jugs blade, then we advise you to first purchase a silicone rubber ring for the BL1200 which is available at www.duronic.com. Sometimes the old ring is enough to use one more time, however if it leaks then a new silicone rubber ring will be required to seal the base of the jug properly. In order to separate the blade, you will need the lid of the jug, which connects to the base – once connected, rotate anti-clockwise to unscrew the blade off the jug. Please note: This all depends on how frequently the blender is used. E.g. If you are a frequent user then you may need to change the parts once every year. However, less frequent users will almost never need to do this. Can I blend frozen fruits?
es, you may use frozen fruits, however it is advised that you defrost the frozen fruits for 1-2 hours prior use. Why is there a strange smell during blending? This is normal and fades away with time. The unit has a powerful motor which is brand new and factory installed. As you are the first user of the unit, you will receive a slight odour coming from the motor. However, with regular usage the odour will disappear.11 Can I blend hot soup? Blending hot soup will create a large amount of heat output. There is a cap on the lid you need to take off to allow this heat to leave. Also the jug must not be fully lled up. Only up to 50% at a go will ensure soup does not come out of the jug. With regular use you will nd out what level is best to ll the jug as it really depends on the content you blend.
- Blending hot soup? Please read the next section.
Warning: please follow below instructions strictly for blending hot soup!
- the max. capacity must be less than 50% (max. 0.9L). - the temperature of hot soup must be less than 60℃. - take off the lid (part 1) before blending. What can I do to take care of the jug? We do not recommend washing a jug immediately after blending hot soup. It’s a chemical reaction between hot glass and cold water which will crack, or sometimes even break the glass. This will happen to any glass jug, so please let your jug cool down before attempting to wash it. When storing the jug away after use, allow the jug to completely dry up before storing away for future use, This is essential to maintain the blade. Leaving water inside the jug may build up rust on the blade which may damage the blade in the future. We advise storing the jug away with the lid separated as leaving the lid on will trap moisture and will leave your jug with a slight odour of the food which you blended.12 Warranty 1 Year Guarantee from Shine-Mart Ltd, Trademark owners of Duronic Products.
