Welcome
You've just joined the elite group of individuals who demand the best. With the workstation PRO, you will have confidence that you'll have all the power you need when and where you need it. With an impact and splash resistant design, 6,000 mAh capacity and small form-factor – you can be assured that no matter how extreme your weekend gets, all your gear will have the power it needs come Monday.
Because the workstation is universal and will work with most USB devices, its hard to be specific about how much additional power you will get – it depends on what kind of battery you are charging and what you're using it for. But at 6000mAh, rest assured that this thing will keep you going for hours and hours.
IP65 Rated
When we say this thing is rugged, we mean it. With a rating of IP65, the powerstation PRO has been tested using international standards for dust and water resistance (IP = Ingress Protection). A rating of 65 means that this device is totally dust-proof (with the ports closed) and resistant to water being sprayed at it with a water-jet. Getting the powerstation PRO wet is no big deal (even in the shower*), but don't try taking a bath with it.
*Do not take it in the shower. And, don't get it wet while your charging anything.

Compatibility
The workstation has been designed principally with Apple products in mind - specifically the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. We have done extensive testing on these products and can assure you that this device is fully compatible with all versions of the above. If you'd like to try it with your blueberry or slidekick, be our guest, but we do not guarantee the outcome. If you do try it, feel free to give us a call and let us know what happened - could be exciting. As always, please read through all of the warnings in this manual very carefully before using this product.
Charging your workstation
Connect your workstation using the included micro USB cable. You can charge your workstation using your computer or using a third party "Works with iPhone" USB wall adaptor. You can even use your iPad wall adaptor, which is the fastest method currently available. (The LEDs located on the top of the device will blink when charging, after 30 seconds the lights will turn off. Press the status indicator before you disconnect to make sure you are fully charged.)
Charging your device using the workstation
We've included a USB A to micro USB cable. You can use this cable to charge the workstation, or, use it backwards to charge any micro-usb device. Chances are, if it's not Apple, its micro-USB. If you're device isn't micro-USB – you'll have to bring your own cable to the party. This way, the workstation can play with whichever device and connector you have lying around, not limited to what we choose to ship it with. In order to charge your device, you will need to have a USB cable compatible with your device. These come standard with all Apple products as well as most other smartphones, tablets and MP3 players.
Checking the status of the workstation
You can check the amount of juice your workstation has by pressing the button on the side of the device. There are 4 total LEDs. When the button is pressed the LEDs will illuminate for several seconds. LEDs means that the workstation is fully charged and one LED means that it's almost empty.
To keep your workstation operating to its fullest potential, make sure to do the following:
-
Keep your workstation dry and away from moisture and corrosive materials.
-
Do not wash the powerstation with harsh chemicals, soaps or detergents. Just wipe the case with a soft, water-dampened cloth. Wipe the pins gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Re-charge your workstation once every three months when not in use, and remember to charge it for one hour before putting it away the first time.
