Description of the appliance
Overall view Control panel

* Only on a few models
! The first time you use your appliance, heat the empty oven with its door closed at its maximum temperature for at least half an hour. Ensure that the room is well ventilated before switching the oven off and opening the oven door. The appliance may produce a slightly unpleasant odour caused by the burning away of protective substances used during the manufacturing process.
Starting the oven
- Select the desired cooking mode by turning the SELECTOR knob.
- Select the desired temperature with the THERMOSTAT knob. See the Cooking advice table for cooking modes and the suggested cooking temperatures (see Cooking Modes).
- When preheating is finished, the THERMOSTAT indicator light will stay on: place the food in the oven.
- You may do the following during cooking:
- change the cooking mode by turning the SELECTOR knob.
- change the temperature by turning the THERMOSTAT knob.
- stop cooking by turning the SELECTOR knob to the "0" position.
! Never put objects directly on the oven bottom to avoid damaging the enamel coating.
! Always place cookware on the rack(s) provided.
Cooling ventilation
In order to cool down the external temperature of the oven, some models are fitted with a cooling fan that blows out air between the control panel and the oven door.
! Once the cooking has been completed, the cooling fan remains on until the oven has cooled down sufficiently.
Oven light
It goes on when selecting with the SELECTOR knob. It stays on when a cooking mode is selected.
How to use the timer*
- To set the buzzer, turn the TIMER knob clockwise almost one complete revolution.
- Turn the knob anticlockwise to set the desired time: align the minutes shown on the knob with the indicator on the control panel.

Cooking modes
! A temperature value can be set for all cooking modes between 60°C and Max, except for
- GRILL (recommended: set only to MAX power level);
- GRATIN (recommended: do not exceed 200°C).
TRADITIONAL OVEN mode
Both the top and bottom heating elements will come on. With this traditional cooking mode, it is best to use one cooking rack only; if more than one rack is used, the heat will be distributed unevenly.
MULTI-COOKING mode
All the heating elements (top and bottom), as well as the fan, will come on. Since the heat remains constant throughout the oven, the air cooks and browns food uniformly. A maximum of two racks may be used at the same time.
TOP OVEN mode
The top heating element comes on. This mode can be used to brown food at the end of cooking.
GRILL mode
The top heating element comes on. The extremely high and direct temperature of the grill makes it possible to brown the surface of meats and roasts while locking in the juices to keep them tender. The grill is also highly recommended for dishes that require a high temperature on the surface: such as beef steaks, veal, rib steak, filets, hamburgers etc... Some grilling examples are included in the "Practical Cooking Advice" paragraph. Always cook in this mode with the oven door closed.
GRATIN mode
The top heating element, as well as the fan, will come on. This combination of features increases the effectiveness of the unidirectional thermal radiation of the heating elements through forced circulation of the air throughout the oven. This helps prevent food from burning on the surface, allowing the heat to penetrate right into the food. Always cook in this mode with the oven door closed.
Practical cooking advice
! Do not place racks in position 1 and 5 during fan-assisted cooking. Excessive direct heat can burn temperature sensitive foods. ! In the GRILL and GRATIN cooking modes, place the dripping pan in position 1 to collect cooking residues (fat and/or grease).
MULTI-COOKING
- Use position 2 and 4, placing the food that requires more heat on 2.
- Place the dripping pan on the bottom and the rack on top.
GRILL
- Insert the rack in position 3 or 4. Place the food in the centre of the rack.
- We recommend that you set the maximum power level. The top heating element is regulated by a thermostat and may not always be on.
PIZZA
- For best results when cooking pizza, use the MULTI-COOKING mode.
- Use a light aluminium pizza pan. Place it on the rack provided.
For a crispy crust, do not use the dripping pan (prevents crust from forming by extending cooking time).
- If the pizza has a lot of toppings, we recommend adding the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza halfway through the cooking process.
WARNING! The oven is provided with a stop system to extract the racks and prevent them from coming out of the oven.
As shown in the drawing, to extract them completely, simply lift the racks, holding them on the front part, and pull.

Programs
Cooking programs
On first switching on, start the oven in empty mode: heat it for about one hour with the thermostat at maximum and the doors closed. Then switch it off, open the oven door and check the appliance.
The smell, smoke, is the result of the evaporation of substances necessary for the protection of the oven.
The cooking programs set the temperature in the range of 50°C to MAX, except:
- Grill (it is recommended to set the grill to MAX); Convection grill (it is recommended not to exceed the temperature of 200°C).
During cooking, the fan continues to operate until the oven has completely cooled.
The program is selected by the programmer. The program is selected by the programmer.
How to use the timer*
- First of all, you need to start the timer by turning the timer knob fully clockwise.
The GRILL program is intended for heating elements - lower and upper. When grilling, it is better to use one level: when using several levels, the temperature is distributed unevenly. The program is for one-time cooking.
All heating elements (upper and lower) and the fan operate. Since the heat is distributed evenly throughout the oven, cooking is faster thanks to the constant air flow. You can use more than two levels at the same time.
The GRILL program uses the upper heating element. High temperature directly provides quick formation of a crispy crust, which retains the juices, so the dish inside will be juicier. It is recommended for dishes that require high temperature on the surface: steaks, chops, fish fillets, hamburgers, etc. Some examples are given in the "Useful tips for cooking" section. During cooking, the oven door must be closed. The CONVECTION GRILL program uses the upper heating element and the fan. This mode combines one-sided heat radiation with forced air circulation inside the oven. This prevents the surface from burning, increasing the penetration of heat. During cooking, the oven door must be closed.
Useful tips for cooking
Grill
! When grilling with convection, do not use levels 1 and 5: the hot air flow may lead to burning of some products.
! Maximum cooking with convection
Place the rack in position 1 or 2 for grilling (for steaks and/or chops).
Place the tray in position 3 or 4, distributing the products in the center of the tray. - It is recommended to set the maximum electric power. The upper heating element is switched on together with the lower one: its operation is controlled by the thermostat.
NILU A
ONE-TIME COOKING
Place the baking tray on levels 2 and 4, using level 2 for dishes that require more heat. -Place the baking tray at the bottom of the oven.
For the best pizza results, use the pre-set pizza program.
Use the lower form without the handle, made of light aluminum, placing it on the tray from the accessory kit.
With the baking tray, the cooking time increases and the pizza crust becomes crispier.
- In case of heavily loaded dishes, it is advisable to place the baking tray in the middle of the oven.

Safety precautions and recommendations
1! The hood has been developed and designed in accordance with international safety standards. These warnings are provided for your safety: please read them carefully.
General safety
- The hood is intended for non-professional use inside residential premises. It is forbidden to install it outside the premises, even in protected areas, because it is very dangerous to expose it to rain or storms. - Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
- Use the hood only for the purpose for which it was designed, as described in this brochure. Any other use (for example, for heating the room) is considered improper and therefore incorrect. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for possible damage resulting from use not in accordance with its intended purpose, or from incorrect or unreasonable use. During operation, the heating elements and the doors of the hood become very hot in some places. Be careful: do not touch them and keep children at a safe distance. Make sure that the hood is not touched by other household appliances. Do not cover the ventilation openings or the openings for heat extraction. To open the doors, take hold of the handle in the center: from the sides they may be hot. Always use protective gloves for loading or unloading dishes. Do not cover the hood with a cloth. Do not place flammable materials on the hood: in the event of accidental ignition, the appliance may catch fire. When you are not using the appliance, always turn it off and ensure that the controls are in the off position.
- When unplugging the appliance from the electrical outlet, pull only the plug, never the cord. All operations involving connection or technical maintenance must be carried out after having unplugged the appliance from the electrical outlet.
- In any case, do not attempt to repair the internal mechanisms yourself. Contact the service center (see Help). Do not place heavy objects on the open doors of the hood. Do not allow the appliance to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by inexperienced persons, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety; do not allow the appliance to be used by persons who have not received instructions on its use. Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
Disposal
- Disposal of packaging material: comply with local regulations, as packaging can be reused.
- European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) stipulates that household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste. At the end of their service life, appliances must be collected separately to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and to reduce the potential harm to health and the environment. The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin, affixed to all products, reminds of the need for separate collection. For further information on the correct disposal of household appliances, owners may contact their local authorities or the retailer.
Protection and safety of the environment
Operating the oven during off-peak hours, from late evening to early morning, allows you to reduce the energy consumption of the appliance. The availability of planning programs, including "Delayed start" (see Programs) and "Automatic cleaning" (see Maintenance and Care), helps you to organize yourself independently of time. When cooking in the BARBEQUE and CONVECTION modes, keep the oven door closed: this allows you to obtain better results and save energy (approximately 10%). Keep the appliance in good working order and use the seals so that they fit well against the door and do not cause heat loss.
Maintenance and Care
How to disconnect the electrical power
Before performing any operation, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
Cleaning the door
External enameled or stainless steel parts and rubber seals can be washed with warm water and neutral soap. For stubborn stains, use special products. Rinse well with water and dry after washing. Do not use abrasive powders or harsh cleaners. It is recommended to wash the oven interior after each use, while it is still warm. Wash with warm water and detergent, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive products.
Accessories can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher, except for the sliding guides.
