With the body fat analysis scales, you can not only determine your weight, but also your body fat proportions.
What is the body fat?
Body fat is essential for survival,It cushions,for examplethe joins,protects the organs and stores vitamins.However,a high proportion of body fat poses many risks.In particular for the heart and circulatory system.Few peoIe are aware of the fact that weight and the proportion of body fat tell us a lot about the degree of health risk.Even slim people may have an unhealthily high proportion o fbody fat.A person who is "overweight"is not necessarily "too fat".The excess weight can be caused by above average muscle bulk.Conversely,aperson who is not overweigh may be "too fat"if their body contains too much fat in proportion to muscle,bymeasuring your body fat you can determine if you really are"too fat"Standard scales only show the total weight of the body,without providing any information about the fat content.
Body fat measurement how it does it work?
Before you can work out your body fat proportion and proportion of water (depending on model) you must program your date regarding height, age and sex into the scales. When measuring body fat an undetectable bioelectrical current is transmitted through the feet into the body, with the varying speeds being used to provide the proportion of body fat. This id then entered after being compared with personal details. The electrical signal used is innocuous to people and cannot be felt. Long-term monitoring will enable you to calculate and observe the proportions of body fat and water in your body.
Body fat measurement points to note!
Measurement of body fat must be performed bare foot. Care must be taken to ensure that measurement is always performed under identical conditions (e.g. not eating or drinking directly prior to measurement) and at the same time of day. This is important, as the proportion of body fat, as the proportion of body fat, as with body weight, fluctuates. This fluctuation may result in different times of a day producing different results. In order to determine the real changes in fat proportion it is therefor necessary to always measure at the same time of day. WHY MEASURE BODY WATER
Water is the substance that occurs the most often in the human organism. It is a transportation medium, vital for temperature adjustment and a universal solvent for all bio-chemical reactions taking place in the body. Throughout its lifetime, our body tries to keep its water content in a balanced state. Loss of body water must be compensated with the continuous intake of liquids. In this respect, the most important organs are the kidneys. A noticeable rise or fall in body water levels indicates a malfunction in the body's water system. This serves as a warning signal. The purpose of body water measurement is primarily to monitor the normal values of the body. Diets, in particular, may result in fluctuations in these values due to a change in the relationship between water intake and excretion.
What proportion of water is normal?
As with weight and body fat, there is also no fixed measurement for the proportion of bofy water. The percentage of water in the body must be seen in relation to age, sex and size. Therefore, young men have a proportion of water to total body weight of around 63% , sinking to 52% with increasing age, whereas women only have 52% water as proportion of total weight, sinking to 46% in later years. With body fat this process is the direct opposite.
Body fat analysis advice for women
Women have naturally approximately 5% more body fat than men. A woman's body is created in such a manner as to provide protection for itself and a possible foetus. Therefore, women have more enzymes which store fat and fewer enzymes which burn fat. Moreover, the oestrogen in a women's body activates fat-storing enzymes and encourages them to mutiply. Because of the menstrual cycle, the water content of the female body undergoes larger alterations than that of the male body, which may influence the measurement of body fat. The retention of fluid can also mean that weight fluctuates from day to day during this time period, and may result in further fluctuations in body fat proportion. In order to bring accuracy to the monitoring process for body fat it is therefore useful to recode measurements on a daily basis throughout the mouth. Following this, monthly fluctuations may be calculated in advance when monitoring at regular intervals!

WEIGH BODY FAT OPERATION:
Step 1: To activate press ON/SET key and wait until 0.0kg appears, then you can press the button "kg/lb/st" at the bottom of the scale to change the unit.(the graduation for kg/lb is 100g/0.2lb)
Step 2: Press the ON/SET key again for at least 3 seconds, the memory position number will appear, use the "up and down" keys to select the respective memory position that you wish to programmr.
Step 3: Confirm with the ON/SET key.
Step 4: The symbol for "male or female" begins to flash
Step 5: Use the "up" and "down" keys to select the sex and confirm using the "ON/SET" key, then the age begin to flash;
Step 6: Use the "up" and "down" keys to set the age, pressing the "ON/SET" key to confirm, then the height begin to flash;
Step 7: You may now use the "up" and "down" keys to set the height, press the "ON/SET" key to confirm, then, the fitness model begins to flash,
Step 8: Then, the user you set will flash, now, you should press "set/on" to confirm, when "0.0KG" displays on the LCD, then you can step on the scale, then your weight will display on the LCD first, your perception of weight, body fat, body water, muscle, bone, BMI and BMR will display on the LCD ordinally.
Step 9: Your weight, your perception of weight, body fat, body water, muscle, bone, BMI, BMR will flash two times ordinally, then the scale will switch off automatically!
WEIGHT ONLY:
Step 1. Press the "ON/SET" button and wait until 0.0kg appears.
Step 2. Now step onto the scale and stand still until the weight display begins to flash. Your correct weight will display on the LCD!

BODY FAT INDEX(BMI)
It reflects the overall overweight and fat. The BMI calculates the proportion of the body fat, so it can have a more correct presume about the risk of heart-disease and high blood pressure. You should take care of your BMI!
The world standard for BMI :if your BMI is in the range of 18.5---24.9, it is nomal level; if your BMI above 30.00, your are fat, you should take some steps to low the BMI!
BMR:
Your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is an estimation of the energy (measured in calories) expended by the body, at rest, to maintain normal body functions. This continual work makes up about 60 - 70% of the calories the body uses, and includes the beating of your heart, respiration, and the maintenance of body temperature. Your BMR is influenced by a number of factors, including age, weight, height, gender, dieting and exercise habits.
