How to assemble the Emerio SIM108067.1 ice machine?

Push the removable cup holder into the front opening of the housing. Position the syrup bottles in the bottle holders on the side. Align the tabs of the outer bowl with the slots on the housing and push to lock. Place the shaving blade into the bowl and lock it with the fixing button by turning clockwise.

How to use the machine to make shaved ice?

Select 1 or 2 cones with the blade selector. Place ice cubes into the shaving blade. Plug in the appliance. Put the lid on and turn it counterclockwise to start. To stop, turn the lid clockwise.

How to dispense syrup with the machine?

Turn the pump spouts outward, over your cup filled with shaved ice. Press the pumps 5-7 times. After use, turn the spouts back toward the machine to prevent leaks.

What types of ice cubes can be used?

You can use regular or flavored ice cubes: freeze fruit juice, soda, yogurt, or milk. Never operate the machine without ice.

How long can I run the machine continuously?

1. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
5. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

FIRST ASSEMBLING STEPS

1. Push the removable cup holder (5) into the opening on the front of the housing. If you are using any other cup, bowl or glass, do not attach the cup holder.
2. Place the syrup bottles (8) into the holders (7) on the side of the housing. Note: keep the pump spouts turned inwards toward the front of the housing when not in use to prevent accidental dispensing of syrup.
3. Line up the two tabs of the exterior bowl (3) with the matching grooves on the housing. Push them gently in place to secure.
4. Place the auger (2) inside the exterior bowl (3). Lock the auger in place with the securing nut (6) by turning it clockwise.

OPERATION

1. Select 1 or 2 snow cones by turning the blade switch knob (4) on the side of the exterior bowl.
2. Place the cups in the cup holder or place your other cup, bowl or glass on the plate under the cup holder.
3. Add ice cubes to the auger.
4. Plug in the appliance into a wall outlet.
5. Place the lid on top of the exterior bowl and turn the lid counter-clockwise until the large extended lid tab engages with the interlock.
6. Just turn the lid clockwise to stop the operation.

Dispensing the syrup:

1. Turn the pump spouts outwards away from the appliance and place your cup/ bowl/ glass filled with shaved ice under the syrup spout and press down 5-7 times.

Note: the sweetness of the finished shaved ice in your cup depends on the amount of ice you use and how much syrup you dispense.

1. When you are finished with dispensing the syrup, turn the pump spouts back towards the appliance again.

TASTY TREATS

• Super snow cones: use flavored ice cubes for a unique snow cone taste. Freeze fruit juice, soda, flavored yogurt, or milk into cubes and then place them in the auger.
• Soda: use your favorite soda and add a twist of lemon or lime.
• Fruit juices: natural flavorings that are both tasty and good for you. Try apples, grape, orange, grapefruit and cranberry or any combination for a special treat.
• Rainbow slush: place a layer of shaved ice in the bottom of a tall glass, add syrup flavor. Add a middle layer of ice; add a different syrup flavor. Add a top layer of ice and another syrup flavor. Garnish with fruit.

TIPS

• Unplug the power cord after use.
  If the unit does not start, it might be due to all parts not being correctly in place.
• Do not run the appliance for longer than 5 minutes continuously as overheating may occur.
  Some minor expansion / contraction sounds may occur during use, this is normal.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
• Do not run the appliance without any ice in the auger.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Hand wash the parts in warm soapy water. Be careful when you are cleaning the shaving blades in the exterior bowl. These are very sharp.
3. Do not wash any parts of the appliance in a dishwasher.
4. Do not immerse the housing in any liquid. Simply clean its exterior with a damp soft cloth.
5. The syrup bottles can be removed from the appliance and stored in the refrigerator between uses.
6. There will always be a small amount of ice remaining in the exterior bowl after shaving the ice. Discard this ice.
