Frequently Asked Questions - ST 32 EC TEAM

How do I change the dust bag?
Unplug the appliance. Open the dust container lid. Remove the full bag from its holder and discard it without folding. Slide a new bag by sliding the cardboard onto the holder. Close the cover until it clicks. Reconnect the hose.
How do I clean the motor filter?
Unplug the appliance. Open the dust container and remove the motor protection filter. Rub it clean or wash it with water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry completely before reinstalling. It is recommended to clean it every 3 months.
What to do if suction decreases or the red indicator lights up?
First check if a blockage is obstructing the tube, hose, or brush. If the red indicator persists when the brush is not in contact with a thick surface, the bag is likely full. Replace the bag. If the problem persists, check the filters and clean or replace them.
Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?
No, this vacuum cleaner is designed only for dry waste. Never vacuum liquids, as this could damage the appliance and pose an electrical risk.
How do I use the 2-position universal brush?
For smooth floors (tiles, parquet), set the brush to position A. For carpets and rugs, switch it to position B. This adaptation ensures efficient cleaning with minimal effort.
How do I store the vacuum cleaner to save space?
Place the vacuum cleaner in a vertical position. Slide the universal brush tube into the designated compartment under the appliance. The hose, tubes, and brush remain attached to the appliance.
How do I rewind the power cord?
Press the rewinder pedal (7) on the appliance. The cord rewinds automatically. To avoid damaging the cord, do not pull it beyond the red mark.
What does the bag full indicator mean?
The red indicator means the bag is full or the suction is blocked (e.g., if the brush is pressed against a thick carpet). If the indicator remains red after lifting the brush, the bag should be replaced.
What accessories are included with the vacuum cleaner?
The vacuum cleaner comes with a hose, a telescopic tube, a 2-position universal brush, and a small brush for mattresses, sofas, and upholstered furniture.
Where can I find replacement bags?
Contact the store where you purchased the vacuum cleaner or the after-sales service indicated on the warranty card. Use only bags recommended by the manufacturer.
