IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3 times with fresh water, before rinsing. OPERATION Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it. Raise the lid and fill the tank with fresh water paying attention not to fill under the "MIN" mark and above the "MAX" mark in the kettle. You can see the level thanks to the transparent water level indicator. Close the lid by pressing it down until it you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly. Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and switch on. The pilot light on the handle will come on. If it does not come on, check if the jug kettle is placed correctly on its base. If the problem persists, contact the nearest customer service. The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. However, you can switch it off anytime by pressing the on/off switch. For instant reboiling, wait until water has cooled down and switch on the appliance again.
