IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions. Do not place the appliance directly under a power socket. The power socket must not be in the hot airflow of the appliance in order to avoid overheating. Never orient the appliance towards the ceiling, but orient it horizontally or downwards. This safeguard is primordial in order to avoid excessive heating of the ceiling that could result in the deterioration of its coating. Moreover, in such configuration, the position of the switch would no longer be visible. To avoid any risk of fire, do not cover the heater with clothes or any other object.

Warning: Do not operate the heater near baths, showers, washbasins, swimming pools or

any other water container. It must be impossible to reach the commands of your appliance when you are in contact with water.   • Measure the distance between the holes situated at the back of the bracket and drill two holes in the wall at the same distance.
  • Put a plug in the holes and screw the screws in the holes but let them more or less 5-10 millimetres out of the wall.
  • Fix the bracket by putting the screws into the widest part of the holes situated at the back of the bracket and slide the bracket downwards.
  • The appliance is now ready for use. BATTERIES
  • In order to be able to use the remote control, you first have to insert batteries in it. To do so:

Open the battery compartment by pressing on the cover and sliding this cover down.

Insert the batteries, making sure you respect the + and – polarity.

Close the compartment by sliding the cover in the opposite direction. Use 2 AA-type batteries of 1.5 V. Never mix up new and old batteries or batteries of different types.

  • When you decide to throw away the appliance, make sure to remove the batteries and to dispose of them in an ecological manner by handing them in a place intended for this end. TIMER 0.5h 1h 2h 4h USE The heater may be operated with the control panel located on the heater or with your remote control. Mount the heater on the wall as explained in the “wall-mounting” paragraph. CAUTION: NEVER USE THE APPLIANCE WHEN NOT MOUNTED ON THE WALL. Plug in the appliance. When the appliance is plugged in, the button is on. Each time you press the buttons on control panel or on the remote control, a beep sound is heard.

Your appliance is fitted with a COOL AIR (fan), HEAT 1000W, HEAT 2000W & SWING function (allows the air flow to change direction). If you notice that there are slight vibrations when turning on the appliance, which then gradually fade away, do not become unduly alarmed. This is part of the normal behaviour of the appliance.

: The heater works in the five states cycle, COOL AIR - 1000W - 2000W - SWING -OFF.

Press one time the button: appliance is in fan mode, the pilot light COOL AIR is ON, at that time the fan is with cold air.

Press one more time the button: appliance is in HEAT mode 1000W, the pilot light 1000W is ON, at that time the fan is with hot air and the heating power is 1000W.

Press one more time the button: appliance is in HEAT mode 2000W, the pilot light 2000W is ON, at that time the fan is with hot air and the heating power is 2000W.

Press one more time the button: appliance is in SWING mode, the pilot light SWING is ON, the louver will swing up and down.

Press one more time the button: appliance is OFF. TIMER:

By pressing the "TIME/TIMER" button of the remote control or on the control panel, you can set the switch-off time of the appliance. The timer is adjustable from 0.5 hour (min) up to

7.5 hours (max). Every pressing corresponds to 0.5 hour. Some settings will switch on several

pilot lights. For instance, if you select 1 hour and 30 minutes, the first two pilot lights will be on.

ON/OFF: Press this knob when you want to switch the unit on or off. When you press ON, the product starts working in the FAN mode (COOL AIR).

MODE: You can choose heat 1000W and heat 2000W by pressing the mode knob sequentially.

CANCEL: Press the knob, you can cancel now ongoing operation.

TIME: cf. TIMER explanation above.

SWING: Press the knob, the louver will swing up and down.

▲+ : Press the knob once and the temperature will increase by 1°C.

▼- : Press the knob once and the temperature will decrease by 1°C. SAFETY DEVICES This heater is protected with an overheating protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheating, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 15-20 minutes for it to cool and remove the object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.

  • Always switch off the appliance and unplug it and wait until it has totally cooled down before cleaning it.
  • Clean the housing with a dry cloth.
  • If necessary you can use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust particles situated behind the protective rack.
  • Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.
