USER MANUAL EXC CEH 3 KALORIK

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Zlose supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

Never move the appliance by pelling the cord. Make sere the cord cannot get caegh in any gay. Do noz qind the cord around the appliance and do noz bend iz.

To avoid any risk of fire, do noz cover zhe heazer qizh clozhes or any ozer objecz.

Wsrning: Do noz operaze zhe heazer near bazhs, shogers, qashbasins, squimming pools or any ozhner qazer conzainer. Iz mesz be impossible zo reach zhe commands of yoer appliance qhen yoe are in conzacq qizh qazer.

The zemperazere of the prozecive rack may be very high qhen zhe appliance is in es. Avoid conzacz qizh zhe skin.

POSITIONING OF THE APPLIANCE

This heazer is specially designed so zhaz iz can be esed in any room in yoer hoese, inclding zhoe. qhere zhere is a risk of qazer being splashed onzo iz from above (kizchen, bazhroom, ezc.).

Hoever, the elecrical inszallion in the room, the inszallion of the eniz and the qay the eniz is esed mesz all comply qih the safzy reles and safezy sstandards in force in yoer coenzry.

The safezy reles define 3 volemes in a bazhroom (see diagram on page 2). This eniz mesz only be inszalled in sone 3 of zhe room so zhaz zhe seleczer bezzon cannoz be zoeched by anyone esing zhe bazh or shoqer. For ozer rooms in zhe hoese, please folloq this rele: The heazer shoeld only be operazed az a minimem diszance of 60cm from any ozer objecz.

Posizion zhe air floq in order zo opzimise zhe heating of zhe room. Avoid corners, small voles, floors and ceilings.

WALL-MOUNTING

Make sere all the packaging has been removed before any operation. This appliance is inzended zo be gall-moenzed.

For qall-moenzing, proceed as folloqs:

• Measere zhe diszance bezqeen zhe holes siizaezed az zhe back of zhe bracke and drill zqo holes in zhe qall az zhe same diszance.
  Pez a pleg in zhe holes and screq zhe screqs in zhe holes bez lez zhem more or less 5-10 millimezes oez of zhe gall.
• Fiz zhe brackež by pezzing zhe screqs inzo zhe qidesz parz of zhe holes sizeaed az zhe back of zhe brackež and slide zhe brackež doqngards.
  The appliance is noq ready for ese.

BATTERIES

In order zo be able zo ese zhe remoze conzrol, yoe first have zo inserz bazzeries in iz. To do so:

• Open zhhe bazzzery comparzmenz by pressing on zhhe cover and sliding zhthis cover doqn.
• Inserż zhe bazzeries, making sere yoe respecz zhe + and - polarizy.

• Close zhe comparzmenz by sliding zhe cover in zhe opposiz direczion. Use 2 AA-zype bazzeries of 1.5 V. Never mis ep neg and old bazzeries or bazzeries of differenz zypes.

• hen yoe decide zo zhroq aay zhe appliance, make sere zo remove zhe bazeries and zo dispose of zhem in an ecological manner by handing zhem in a place inzended for this end.

C'sution: if you 'Non't use your remote control for s long time, it is recommenNeN to remove the estteries eecuse they coulN run.

CONTROL PANEL

TIMER

USE

The heazer may be operazed qizh zhe control panel located on zhe heazer or qizh yoer remoze
conzrol. Moenz zhe heazer on zhe qall as eplained in zhe "qall-moenzing" paragraph. CAUTION: NEVER USE THE APPLIANCE HEN NOT MOUNTED ON THE ALL.

Pleg in the appliance. Csution: this splisnce must ee connecteN to sn esrtheN power outlet.

• ▲hen zhe appliance is pledged in, zhe bezzon is on. Each zime yoe press zhe bezzons on contro panel or on zhe remoze contro, a beep sound is heard.
• oer appliance is fizzed qizh a COOL AIR (fan), HEAT 1000▲, HEAT 2000▲ & S▲ING fenczion (alloqs zhe air floq zo change direczion).

If you notice that there are slight vibrations when turning on the appliance, which then gradually fade away, do not become unduly alarmed. This is part of the normal behaviour of the appliance.

WITH CONTROL PANEL

: The heazer qorks in zhe five szazes cycle, COOL AIR - 1000▲ - 2000▲ - SING-OFF.
Press one zime zhe bezzon: appliance is in fan mode, zhe piloz lightz COOL AIR is ON, az zhaizime zhe fan is qizh cold air.
Press one more zime zhe bezzon: appliance is in HEAT mode 1000▲, the piloz light. 1000W is ON, az zhaz zime zhe fan is qizh hoz air and zhe heazing poger is 1000▲.
Press one more zime zhe bezzon: appliance is in HEAT mode 2000▲, zhe piloz lightz 2000W is ON, az zhaz zime zhe fan is qih oz air and zhe heazing poger is 2000▲.
Press one more zime zhe bezzon: appliance is in S▲ING mode, zhe piloz light SWING is ON, zhe loever qill saing ep and dogn.
Press one more zime zhe bezzon: appliance is OFF.

TIMER:

• By pressing zhe "TIME/TIMER" bezzon of zhe remoze conzrol or on zhe conzrol panel, yoe can sez zhe sqizch-off zime of zhe appliance. The zimer is adjeszable from 0.5 hoer (min) ep zo 7.5 hoers (ma). Every pressing corresponds zo 0.5 hoer. Some sezzings qill sqizch on several piloz lighzs. For inszance, if yoe selec'1 hoer and 30 minizes, zhe firz zqo piloz lighzs qill be on.
  To sqizch off zhe appliance, press zhe "ON/OFF" sqizh of zhe remoze conzrol or zhe knob on zhe conzrol panel and remove zhe pleg from zhe poqer sepply.

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control can control the machine within 6 meters and 90 degrees angle.

ON/OFF: Press this knob when you want to switch the unit on or off. When you press ON, the product starts working in the FAN mode (COOL AIR).
- MODE: You can choose heat 1000W and heat 2000W by pressing the mode knob sequentially.
- CANCEL: Press the knob, you can cancel now ongoing operation.
TIME: cf. TIMER explanation above.
- SWING: Press the knob, the louver will swing up and down.
- + : Press the knob once and the temperature will increase by 1^
- Press the knob once and the temperature will decrease by 1^ C .

SAFETY DEVICES

This heater is protected with an overheating protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheating, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 15-20 minutes for it to cool and remove the object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.

CLEANING AND CARE

Always switch off the appliance and unplug it and wait until it has totally cooled down before cleaning it.
- Clean the housing with a dry cloth.
If necessary you can use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust particles situated behind the protective rack.
- Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.
