This radiator is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Any repairs requiring the opening of the oil container are to be made by the manufacturer or its authorized service agent. They also should be contacted if oil is leaking. When scrapping the appliance, all regulations concerning the disposal of oil should be followed.
Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
CONNECTION TO THE MAINS SUPPLY
The radiator should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label (230V (AC)) and the rated electric current is not lower than 10A. This product complies with all binding CE-labelling directives. ASSEMBLY Before using the radiator for the first time, the wheels must be fitted to the unit and then secured with the wing nuts provided. Turn the heater upside down. Position the two wheels base between the end fins. Attach them to the heater using the U-hook and wing nuts. Fasten the wing nuts. Turn the heater the right way around.
THE HEATER MUST NOT BE USED WITHOUT ITS WHEELS. When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. OPERATION
1. Select the power with the power selector. It has 3 different positions:
I = reduced power II = medium power I + II = full power
2. Turn the thermostat clockwise to increase the temperature and anticlockwise to reduce it.
The pilot light will turn on indicating that the appliance is heating. During use, the pilot light will come on and off. It will turn off as soon as the set temperature is reached.
3. If you want to switch off your appliance, turn off the two switches (thermostat knob to
“LOW” position and power selector to “0”/“OFF”), remove the plug from the power supply and place it in its storage location. 4. To move your appliance, take it by its handle, raise it and roll it.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION This heater is protected with an overheating protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheating. In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for it to cool. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely. Do not clean the radiator with water and do not immerse it in water or any other liquid. The housing may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
