Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the instruction manual together with the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance before using the appliance.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface with ample distance to the outer edges. Do not block the ventilation opening. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient free space.
Do not move the appliance when pots or pans are standing on it.
Do not put any empty pans, metal objects, inflammable objects or objects with low heat resistance on the plate.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is in use. Never touch those surfaces during use nor before the appliance has totally cooled

down, and only handle the knobs. Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during use.

Do not touch the hotplate, as it may be hot after a long use.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
Be extremely careful, as oil or fat preparations might catch fire when overheated.
When using the appliance under an extractor hood, make sure to observe the minimal distance advised by the producer. It is even wiser to double this distance.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.

  • Immediately unplug the appliance if a crack or defect appears and make sure it is controlled by a qualified competent electrician.
  • Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of separate remote control system.

Competent qualified service: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this service.

The induction cooking plate will function only when a cooking utensil that is suitable for cction is standing on the plate! When no pot or pan has been put on the plate, the ance will switch off immediately for safety reasons. Always test your pots and pans with a net beforehand - if the magnet sticks to the pot or pan, it is suitable.

GENERALUSE

  • Put usable cooking utensils in the middle of the plate and plug in the appliance.
  • As soon as the appliance is plugged in, a beep sounds, "OFF" appears on the display and the internal fan is set in motion briefly.
  • Switch the appliance on with a light fingertip press on the on-off switch; "ON" appears on the display.
  • Start the induction with a press on the function key, 1600 appears on the display as standard default for the power. Turn the dial to choose between the power settings
  • Press the „Funktion" key again to switch to the temperature indication, which is standing on maximum value 240^ . Turn the dial to choose between the temperature settings.
  • Press the „Funktion“ key again - 0:00 appears on the display. Turn the dial to set the time; however, if you do not move the dial, no time limit is set.

EXAMPLES:

1. Boiling water (as fast as possible)

  • Put a pot filled with the desired amount of water in the middle of the cooking plate.
  • Put the plug into the electric socket, "OFF" appears on the display and a short sound signal indicates that the appliance is energized.
  • Now press the "Ein/Aus" key once. Another sound signal sounds to confirm the input, "ON" appears on the display and the internal fan is set in motion.
  • Press the „Funktion“ key once - power value 1600W appears on the display (or the value of the last power setting if you had not unplugged the appliance after the previous use).
  • Now turn the dial clockwise to 1800W. The heating process starts automatically.
  • The water will be brought to a quick boil. Then switch off the cooking plate - by pressing the on-off key once - and unplug the appliance.

2. Heating soup at 80^ and keeping it warm, altogether 20 min.

Put a pot filled with the soup in the middle of the cooking plate.
- Plug in the appliance, "OFF" appears on the display and a short sound signal indicates that the appliance is energized.
- Press the „Ein/Aus“ key once - another sound signal sounds to confirm the input, „ON“ appears on the display and the internal fan is set in motion.
- Press the „Funktion“ key once - power value 1600W appears on the display (or the value of the last power setting if you had not unplugged the appliance after the previous use).
- Turn the dial to choose the power - we recommend 1200 W (also depending on the amount of soup in the pot).
- Press the „Funktion" key again to switch to the temperature indication, which is already standing on maximum value 240^ . Turn the dial to temperature setting 60.
- Press the „Funktion" key again - 0:00 appears on the display. Turn the dial to set the time - turn clockwise until 0:20 appears on the display.
- The heating process starts automatically and the time counts down. The set power and the balance time will appear on the display by turns. The control lights for the power setting and the clock time light up. When the time has elapsed, another beep will sound and "OFF" will appear on the display.
If you want to end the cooking process prematurely, press the „Ein/Aus" key once.
- Unplug the appliance after use.

Suitable cooking utensils (magnetic):

Steel or cast iron, enamelled iron, stainless steel, flat pans/pots with a diameter of ca. 13 to 18cm .

Unsuitable cooking utensils:

Heat-resistant glass, ceramic moulds (casserole dish), copper, aluminium, pans/pots with a rounded bottom (not flat - e.g. a wok) or pans/pots with a diameter of less than 13cm .

CLEANING

  • Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
  • Wipe the housing only with a moistened cloth or sponge.
    Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
  • The ceramic plate can also be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a commercially available special cleansing agent for ceramic glass hobs and induction cooking plates to remove stubborn stains or discolorations on the plate, and if necessary also a stainless steel wool sponge.
  • Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

The induction cooking plate is equipped with an overheating protection.

If your cooking plate overheats (empty pot or pan), a prolonged bleep will sound. After a few minutes the cooking function will switch off automatically.

If you take the pot or pan from the plate during use, a bleep will sound as well and the lamps will flash as a warning. Always switch off the appliance first before taking away the pot or pan.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the

Pieces undergoing wear and fear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!

Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified technician or a repair service.
