SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance. Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old. This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

• Kitchen for personnel of shops, ofces or other similar professional surroundings

• Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character

• Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualied service center for check-up and repair.

• The device heats up during usage. Always use the handle to move the device.

• Do not use the device when barefoot.

• Do not put any ngers or objects in ventilation or exhaust openings. This could cause electrical shocks, res or damages to the device.

• Make sure the cord is not covered, do not place any objects on the cord and make sure nobody can trip over the cord.

• Avoid any contact with the heated device and make sure the electrical cord is not too close to the heated device.

• Keep ammable materials such as pillows, clothing, curtains, etc..away from the device.

• Do not use any extension cords in the bathroom or shower rooms, unless with extreme caution.

• Do not expose the device to rain, sunshine, etc...

• Do not use the device in the vicinity of a bath, a shower or a wimming pool.

• Before cleaning the device, you must deactivate the device by pulling the plug from the socket or by putting the heating knob on ‘0’.

• When the device is damaged, turn it off and remove the plug from the socket. Make no attempts to repair the damages yourself, always consult with an electrician or the customer service of the manufacturer. This to ensure proper materials are used.

• When you decide to never use the device again, we advise to cut the electrical cord after you removed the cord from the socket. We also advise to remove all components that might be dangerous to children.

• 1. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

• 2.Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

• 3.Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• 4.CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

• Place the device on a level surface.

• Plug in the electrical cord into a power socket.

• The device has two knobs: a function knob (silver) and a thermostat knob (orange).

• Use the function knob to choose a setting between fan, off ‘0’, low wattage ‘I’ or high ‘wattage’. When you turn off the knob, the red power light indicator will turn on.

• The thermostat knob is used to control the temperature. When you turn the device on, you turn the thermostat knob counter clockwise on its highest setting. When the desired room temperature is reached, you turn the thermostat knob clockwise to its lowest setting, so the device stops warming. In this setting, the thermostat is equal to the room temperature. Whenever the room temperature drops, the device will turn on again until the desired room temperature is reached again. This allows you to keep the room temperature a constant.

• To turn the device off, you turn the thermostat knob to its lowest setting and put the function knob in its ‘0’ setting.

• On the top side of the device, there is a button that allows automatic swing. Put this button in the ‘I’ setting to make the device swing automatically, allowing for the air to spread better. www.domo-elektro.be NOte The device is equipped with a thermic safety. In case the device is overheating, it will switch off automatically. Remove the plug from the socket and let the device cool off for about 10 minutes before using it again. CLEANING Make sure the device is in the ‘0’ setting and the plug is pulled from the power socket. Clean the surface of the device by using a moist (but not dropping) cloth. Do not immerse the device in water. Clean the grill on the back of the device with one of the smaller brushes on your vacuumer. Make no attempts to take the device apart. Never remove the grill of the device. Clean the rest of the device with a soft cloth. ATTENTION: never use detergents, abrasive products, etc...These will damage the device. Do not use alcohol or other solvents. STORAGE Store away the device in a dry place.DO7338H
