- When using electrical appliances, the following basic regulations need to be followed.

- Attention: this appliance gets hot during use. Necessary safety precautions need to be taken to prevent accidents caused by touching the hot parts of the appliance.
- Only use the appliance indoors.
- Don’t immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid to prevent electric shock.
- Children don’t know the danger of electrical appliances, therefore keep the appliance out of the reach of children and don’t leave children alone when the appliance is in use.
- After use and before cleaning remove the plug from the socket.
- Always let the appliance cool down before cleaning or before storing it.

- When a failure occurs in the cord, the plug or the unit itself, don’t try to repair it yourself. Not only because of the risk of injuries, but also because you lose the rights stated in the warranty.
- Make sure that the cord doesn’t come into contact with hot surfaces and don’t let the cord hang from counter tops.
- Don’t place the appliance near a hot stove or oven.
- When cleaning the appliance don’t use any abrasive cleaners.
- Always make sure there is enough air circulation around the unit when in use. Also make sure that the appliance cannot come in contact with curtains, wallpaper or other ammable materials. This is also the case for the surface on which the unit is placed.
- This unit is for household use only. You should only use the appliance for the intended use as described in the booklet.

1. Wok pan with non-stick
- Before rst use it is recommended to clean the wok pan and lid with hot water and soap.
- Make sure that the plug, cord or contact points don’t come in contact with water.
- Place the removable thermostat plug into the socket from the wok.
- Put the plug into a wall socket.
- Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature.
- When the indication light goes out the wok is ready for use. NOTE: when using the wok for the rst time we recommend to apply a bit of vegetable oil on the non-stick coating on the inside of the wok. Use kitchen gloves and a paper towel and pay attention so you don’t get burned. CLEANING
- Turn off the temperature dial completely and remove the plug from the socket.
- Let the appliance cool down.
- Remove the thermostat plug from the wok by pressing the clip at the side of the plug and pulling the plug out of the wok. You can easily do this with one hand. Clean it with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse in water.
- You can detach the base from the wok pan. Remove the screw at the bottom of the unit. Now you can remove the wok pan from the base. The base can be cleaned with a damp cloth
- Never immerse the base into water. Clean it with a damp cloth, if necessary with some mild detergent.
- The wok pan and lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher or with warm water with some mild detergent.
- Never immerse the plug or thermostat into water or any other liquid.
- Be very careful when the wok pan is lled with oil or any liquids. Don’t move the unit when in use and always let the unit cool down before removing oil or other liquids. When baking and boiling you should not let water come in contact with hot oil. This could splatter or foam.

RECIPES The below recipes are just for your info. The possibilities of the wok are limitless. In the book store you can nd many cook books with recipes for the wok, but to get you started, we provide you with some recipes. Bon appetit!
TOMATO SOUP WITH BEEF AND BASIL
- 1 table spoon of oil
- a dash of rice wine or sherry
- pepper and salt Preparation:
1. Slice up the meat into small pieces. Peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Chop
the cloves of garlic. Wash the leak and slice into rings. Also slice up the basil into small pieces.
3. When the wok is hot, bake the beef for one minute in the oil. Add the tomatoes
and the garlic, so they can also bake.
4. Add 1 litre of water and let it stew for 15 minutes.
5. After 15 minutes add the leak rings and let them cook for 1 minute.
6. Spice up the soup with a dash of rice win or sherry, basil, pepper and salt.
- 250g chicken let (sliced up into cubes)
- ½ red pepper into slices
- 150g mushroom slices
- 1 table spoon of oil
- if preferred a bit of garlic Preparation:
1. Turn the wok to a high temperature and let it heat up.
2. When the wok is hot add the oil.
3. As soon as the oil becomes hot add the chicken.
4. Let the chicken bake for 5 minutes and then remove the chicken.
5. Now do the same with the vegetables and add a bit of rice wine or sherry.
6. After 5 minutes add the chicken and let everything bake shortly.
Tip: marinade lovers can of course marinate the chicken before baking it.
- 1 whole chicken cut into pieces
- 1 teaspoon of green pepper berries
- 4 dl vegetable broth
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- pepper and salt Preparation:
1. Slice the courgette in small long strings with a potato peeler.
2. Let the sliced onions bake for 5 minutes in the oil in the wok.
3. Spice up the chicken with pepper and salt and powder with our.
4. Remove the onions from the wok and bake the chicken.
5. Add the onions again as well as the sliced up tomatoes and the strings of
courgette, let it bake for a short period.
6. Add the vegetable broth and let it stew for 15 minutes with the lid on the wok.
7. Crush the green pepper berries and let it stew for the last 5 minutes.
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds Preparation:
1. Slice the onion, wash the savoy and slice it into pieces.
2. Heat up the oil in the wok.
3. When the oil is hot, stir-fry the bacon in the wok.
4. Add the onion and stir-fry until it colours.
5. Add the sliced up savoy and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the sesame seeds at the end.
7. Now add the chicken broth and spice it up with salt and pepper. Let it stew for 5
minutes with the lid on wok.
