USER MANUAL BL165 ALECTO
- Suitable for rechargeable batteries (NiCd and NiMH), type AAA, AA, C, D and 9V block battery.
- Combined fast charge with timer, trickle charge and discharge
- Mechanical protection against wrong polarity of batteries. USAGE: Charging
1. Install 1, 2 3 or 4 batteries of equal type and
capacity into the charger and put the mode- switch into position "CHARGE".

5. After the predetermined time, the charger will
switch to the trickle charge mode and the green LED will light up. In this condition the batteries can remain in the charger indefinitely. Test: The testmode operates with the types AAA, AA, C and D only. Place the battery into the left slot and set the modeswitch into position TEST. The test LED will light. If the LED dims then is it advisable to discharge the batteries and to charge them again. Discharging: Install the batteries (AAA, AA, C and D only) and set the modeswitch into position DISCHARGE position. The batteries will now be discharged. No Led will light in this condition. Attention: after discharging, the BL-165 does not automatically switch into charge mode. You have to check whether the batteries are fully discharged (TEST-mode) and activate the charge-mode manu- ally (set modeswitch into position CHARGE). 15REMARKS:
- Suited for rechargeable batteries only.
- The testmode operates with the types AAA, AA, C and D only.
- Use the charger in dry places only and avoid moisture.
- When not in use, disconnect the charger from the mains.
- Avoid mechanical damage to the charger; con- sult your dealer when you suspect a defect to the charger; repairs by qualified personnel only.
