The final temperature of the milk is determined by the amount of water in the bottle warmer. If the temperature is too high, it is recommended to use less water in the bottle warmer.

It is recommended to fi ll the interior space with water only after placing the bottle inside. Before the fi rst use, fi ll with water by no more than half the height of the milk within in the bottle, it is also advised to regularly take out the bottle and shake well for an even heating of the content.

Check the temperature of the contents on the back of the hand first before feeding it to the baby, to ensure that the temperature of the bottle contents are safe for your baby. If the temperature is too hot, use less water in the inside of the bottle warmer and vice versa.

Never use the unit without water in it.

Do not move an appliance containing hot liquids.

- Do not immerse appliance, cord or plugs in water or other liquid.

- Place the Baby Bottle Warmer out of the reach of children and on a dry, non-slip, horizontal surface.

- Close supervision is necessary when the unit is used near children.

- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.

- Do not place on hot surfaces or in a heated oven.

- Only use the Baby Bottle Warmer when the ambient temperature is between +7°C and +37°C.

- Change the water in the bottle warmer often for hygienic reasons.

OPERATION

Warming baby bottles:

  1. Slide the control knob into position "0" (off).

  2. Place the bottle in the container and fill the space between the bottle and the inner container with water up to half the bottle's content.

  3. Plug the Baby Bottle Warmer into the mains socket.

  4. Slide the control knob into position "☐". The indicator lamp "X lights to indicate the heating operation.

  5. After some minutes the milk will have reached just the right temperature for your baby. The indicator lamp “X” goes out and the indicator lamp “√” lights; the same time you will hear some beeps.

  6. Slide the control knob into position "0" (off) and disconnect the Baby Bottle Warmer from the mains socket.

  7. Remove the bottle from the container and shake it a little to distribute the heat evenly before you allow your baby to drink.

Warming baby food jars:

  1. Slide the control knob into position "0" (off).

  2. Remove the label and lid from the jar.

  3. Place the jar in the container using the lifter and fill the space between the jar and the inner container with water up to just below the top of the jar.

  4. Plug the Baby Bottle Warmer into the mains socket.

  5. Slide the control knob into position "The indicator lamp" lights to indicate the heating operation.

  6. Use the lifter to stir the contents of the jar frequently for more rapid distribution of heat. After a few minutes the food will have reached just the right temperature for your baby. The indicator lamp “ ” goes out and the indicator lamp √” lights.

  7. Slide the control knob into position "0" (off) and disconnect the Baby Bottle Warmer from the mains socket.

  8. Remove the jar from the container.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Cleaning:

Disconnect the Baby Bottle Warmer from the mains socket (or the cigarette lighter socket) and allow it to cool down. Clean the container and the outside of the Baby Bottle Warmer with a damp cloth.

Never immerse the Baby Bottle Warmer in water. Do not use cleaning or scouring agents.

Decalcify:

Hard water deposits must be removed. To do this use white vinegar only. Pour the vinegar into the tank at mid-level, allow to rest until the hard water deposits have been completely eliminated. Rinse well and wipe with a damp cloth.

Warning:

If a fault occurs, consult the Alecto service centre at telephone number +31 (0) 73 6411 355. Under no circumstances should you try to repair the Baby Bottle Warmer yourself; do not dismantle. Servicing should be performed by qualified service personnel only.
