How to change the battery of the MPT3000 trimmer?

Make sure the device is off. Open the battery compartment (usually at the bottom) and insert a new AAA alkaline battery, positive pole facing down. Preferably use a VARTA® battery.

How to clean the trimmer after use?

After each use, remove the comb if present and brush the blades with the cleaning brush (not included?) or a dry cloth. Never immerse the trimmer in water.

Can I use the trimmer in the nose or ears?

Yes, but with caution: never insert the trimmer more than 6 mm into the nose or ear to avoid injury.

How to adjust the cutting length with the comb?

The eyebrow comb has two length options. Turn the comb to select the desired length, then position it so that the notches align with those of the trimmer.

Does the warranty cover failures due to heavy use?

The warranty covers manufacturing or material defects but does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized disassembly, or normal wear.

Can I use the trimmer on wet areas?

No, use the trimmer only on dry skin. Moisture can damage the device and increase the risk of irritation.

GETTING STARTED

Take the time to acquaint yourself with your detail trimmer, as we are confident you will receive years of enjoyable use and complete satisfaction.

INSERTING THE BATTERY

Your trimmer requires I 'AAA' alkaline battery (first set included). We recommend that you use VARTA® batteries.

▶ Make sure the product is turned off
Insert I "AAA" alkaline battery, positive end downwards.

HOW TO USE

Trimmer removes stray hair anywhere: eyebrows, neckline, face, ears, nose, knees, ankles, arms, and many more.

TO REDUCE THE LENGTH

The detail trimmer has an eyebrow comb that has 2 length options.

▶ Decide which length setting you want to use and position the comb attachment so that the side is facing in the same direction as the trimmer blades.
▶ Make sure that the grooves on the attachment are aligned with the grooves of the cosmetic trimmer.
With the wide opening down, slide the attachment over the trimmer head.
With the comb at a 45^ angle to your skin, gently move the trimmer in the direction of hair growth.

TO EDGE AND SHAPE

▶ Hold the detail trimmer at a right angle to your skin and press down gently.
▶ Edge and shape the area as desired.

CAUTION

Do not apply excessive pressure. Doing so may damage the trimmer head or result in skin injury.
▶ Never insert the trimmer more than 1/4" (6mm) into nose or ear. Foreign objects should not come into contact with eardrum.

SERVICE AND WARRANTY

This product has been checked and is free of defects. We warrant this product against any defects that are due to the faulty material or workmanship for a 2 year period from the original date of consumer purchase. If the product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair any such defect or elect to replace the product or any part of it without charge provided there is proof of purchase. This does not mean an extension of the warranty period.

In the case of a warranty simply call the Remington ^® Service Centre in your region. This warranty is offered over and above your normal statutory rights.

The warranty shall apply in all countries in which our product was sold via an authorised dealer.

This warranty does not include shaving heads / foils and the cutters which are consumable parts. Also, not covered is damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required. This warranty shall not apply if the product has been dismantled or repaired by a person not authorised by us.
