1. Read these instructions.

5. Do not us this apparatus near water.

6. Clean only with dry cloth.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction.

8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

9. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience apparatus.

10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

12. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

13. Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be used near water, e. g. near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool or the like.

14. Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, or placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.

15. Heat - The appliance should be situated away from neat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

16. Power Sources - The product should be operated only with the type of power supply indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operation instructions.

17. Power-Cord Protection - Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.

18. Cleaning - Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

19. Nonuse periods - The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the outlet when left when left unused for a long period of time.

20. Damage Requiring Service - Unplug this product from the wall outlet and take it to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:

a) When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.

b) If liquid has been spilled into, or objects have fallen into the product.

c) If the product has been exposed to rain or water.

d) If the product does not operate when used according to the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may interfere with the product's normal operation.

e) If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.

f) When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance-this indicates a need for service.

1. Lightning - For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.

Connection with the unit

• Check the characteristics of the AC power (AC 230V \~50Hz).
• Place the apparatus in a sure place while taking care to preserve a sufficient space of ventilation all around the apparatus (10 cm) so that the heat generated at the time of operation can be evacuated without obstacle.
• Connect the AC power cord with the back of the apparatus (6) and on the unit.
• When the apparatus is connected on the AC, withdraw the Battery.

Operation with Battery

Open the battery compartment (7) located at the back of the apparatus and introduce 6 batteries 1,5V of the type UM-2/C (NOT SUPPLIED) while taking care not to reverse the poles. Then, close again the compartment.

Radio Mode

Important: In mode OUC-FM / OC-SW, entirely deploy the antenna (5).

1) To turn on the unit: Turn the Power On/OFF button (1) in the direction of the needles of a watch.
2) Choose the range of waves using the buttons - Selector knobs of the bands (3).
3) Adjust the station using the tuning control (4).
4) Adjust the sound volume using the volume knob (1).
5) Use the Volume knob (1) to adjust the volume as desire.
6) To turn off the unit: Turn the Power ON/OFF button (1) in the direction reverses needles of a watch until you hear the "click" sound.

Tone Knob

You can adjust the pitch as desire by using the Tone Knob (2).
