KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. Please read this manual carefully before using the baby carrier. Save it for later reference.
IMPORTANT!
- Put on the harness. The BABYBJÖRN logo should be on your left side.

- Adjust the back cross so it sits just below your shoulder blades for maximum comfort.

- Check that the size adjustment is set to newborn 21-23.5" (53-60 cm).

- Fasten the harness to the front of the baby carrier by locking the double buckle. Each side is locked when you hear a click.

- Fasten the side latch on one side by inserting the hook into the slot. Check that it is firmly locked. Tighten the shoulder straps slightly.

- Place your child in the baby carrier facing you. Hold your infant closely until the baby carrier is fully attached.
Make sure the infant's legs are straddling the seat and that their arms are placed through the armholes.

- Fasten the side latch on the other side by inserting the hook into the slot. Both arms of your baby must be placed through the armholes for maximum safety and support.
Angle the side latch slightly to make it easier to slide into the side latch groove.

- Fasten the head support buckle on both sides. Place your thumb behind the head support knob on the harness. Click into place! You can adjust the head support by carefully pulling on the head support straps.
Always make sure there is enough room around your baby's face to provide a clear source of air.

- Fasten the leg straps on both sides. The leg straps must be used for children between 8 and 11 lbs (3.5 and 4.5kg ) in order to reduce the size of the leg openings.

- Adjust the shoulder straps one at a time while lifting your child from underneath. You should carry your child so close and so high up that you can kiss the top of your child's head.
Finally, check that the back cross is centered just below your shoulder blades.
At the age of 4-6 months, when your child has sufficient muscle control over its head and body, you can switch between carrying your child facing you and facing forward.

-
Repeat step 1 and 2 (page 6).
-
Set the baby carrier according to your child's approximate length.
-
Repeat step 4 and 5 (page 7).
-
Place your child in the baby carrier, facing forward.
-
Repeat step 7 (page 8).
-
Fold down the head support and fasten it on both sides. The head support buckles should be turned over, compared to when used with a baby facing inward.
-
When carrying your child facing forward, please keep in mind the following: The younger baby's arms should be through the armholes, while the older baby can have its arms above the folded head support, as the picture shows.

Make sure you keep hold of your child throughout!

- Unbutton both leg straps, if they are being used.
- Undo the head support on both sides. Place your thumb and index finger on either side of the knob. Press and lift off.
- Undo the side latch on one side. Place your thumb on the grooved marking on the coloured back of the hook, press and pull upwards. You can now remove your child.
- To remove a sleeping child open the side latches on both sides to open the front completely.
- Unfasten the double buckle.
