Note

Install the driver software before connecting the headphones to your computer. Plug the USB connector into a USB port on your PC. Do not plug the headphones into a USB hub; plug them directly into a USB port on the PC instead.

• Insert the supplied driver CD into your CD-Rom drive. Driver setup should automatically start. If it does not, open the driver by double clicking on My Computer / Ares² driver.
• Select driver in the following menu. The installation will now start.
• Complete the installation. Your computer will restart.

Problem Solving

No sound playback

Check if your operating system has registered the headset as the default audio device. To do this, go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices and select the appropriate device for sound playback and output (usually "C-Media Device").

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices and set the device volume lower in the properties window.
