WHEN USING FOR FIRST TIME / OPERATING THE DEVICE

GB

WHEN USING FOR FIRST TIME

  • Take all the device components out of the packaging and remove all packaging material and enclosures.
  • Remove the screws from the rest foot parts.
Assemble the rest foot together in the shape of a cross.
  • Place the pedestals with the rest foot connector onto the assembled rest foot. Be careful to ensure the holes in the connector are correctly aligned over the screw threads of the rest foot.
  • Insert the screws through the holes and thereby connect the rest foot to the pedestals. Ensure the screws are screwed tightly. CAUTION: the screws must not be canted!
  • Loosen the blocking ring by turning anti-clockwise and then pull it completely away from the pedestals. Insert the pedestal cover with the rectangular spaces underneath and over the pedestals. Pull out the inner tube. Now reposition the blocking ring over the pedestals and turn it to secure it (clockwise).
  • Push the control firmly onto the inner tube. Use one hand to keep the inner tube steady, to ensure that it does not get pushed downward under the pressure. Turn and secure the fixing screws in place.
  • Remove the rubber protection from the motor spindle shaft. Screw in the retaining ring of the motor spindle.
  • Position the rear safety guard on the motor. Be careful when doing so to ensure the vertical squares of the safety guard are positioned over the plastic nipples of the motor. Also ensure that the bore in the area of the safety guard is pointing downward. Now screw the retaining ring back onto the motor spindle and ensure it is secured.
  • Now insert the impeller onto the motor spindle. Be careful to ensure that the squares on the inner sides of the impeller are positioned over the diagonally situated splint of the motor spindle.
  • Screw the fixing screws of the impeller onto the motor spindle. CAUTION: the fixing screws are screwed in an anti-clockwise direction, namely to the left! Keep the impeller secured while doing so.

  • Place the front safety guard onto the rear safety guard. To do so, attach a connector to the top of the rear safety guard. Be careful when doing so to ensure both the lower holes of the safety guard are aligned. Insert screws in front through both holes and secure these with the screw nut. Now lock the four clamping devices in place to ensure both safety guards are securely connected.

  1. Plug the device into the mains. The operating light (POWER) lights up in red.
  2. By loosening the blocking ring on the pedestals, the inner tube can be adjusted to the desired height. Subsequently, ensure the blocking ring is resecured in place.
  3. By loosening the side impeller screw under the motor, the tilt angle of the impeller blades can be adjusted. When you have reached the desired angle, secure the impeller screw back in place.
  4. The device offers the following functions:

Slow speed
Medium speed
Fast speed
Horizontal motor swing with impeller blade

  1. Press the "on / speed" button. The fan starts at a low speed. The speed can be altered by further pressing the "on / speed" button. The chosen speed is then indicated via a red light next to the specified speed, namely "low" (slow), "mid" (medium) and "high" (fast).
  2. The swing function is operated by pressing the "swing" button. The swing function can only be activated while the fan is in operation. Pressing the "swing" button again stops the function. The fan remains in the new setting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE / TECHNICAL DATA / WASTE DISPOSAL ADVICE

GB

  1. The time switch function can only be activated while the fan is in operation. The programmable time interval starts at 30 minutes. Pressing the "timer" button again allows various time periods to be selected. The chosen time setting is then indicated via a red light showing the selected time span (0.5 h, 1h, 2h and 4h). Once the time has elapsed, the fan switches itself off.
  2. If you wish to switch the fan off manually, press the "off" button.

NOTE: After the fan has been switched off or switched itself off via the time-switch function, the last speed setting made remains in memory. If unplugged, however, the last speed setting made will be erased and the ventilator will restart with slow speed the next time it is used.
