OPERATION - Use
- Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
- Make sure the control is in the "MIN" position before you plug in (turn entirely to the left).
- Plug in.
- Turn on the device by turning the control to the right. You can also use the control to adjust the capacity.
- Due to the cooking plate's construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
The setting of the thermostat depends on the type of pan, the thickness of the pan, the food and your personal preference.
Broadly, you can keep these settings, MIN = off, 1 = on / simmer, 3 = roast, 5 = Cooking
Make sure the diameter of the pan is similar to the diameter of the hotplate. Also make sure the bottom of the pan is flat. This is to avoid wasting energy. And to prevent a defect caused by disproportionate distribution of heat. Use the small hotplate for small pots and the large hotplate for large cooking pots.
