U BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME Fill the reservoir to the max mark, and run the appliance without coffee.

(press once in manual mode, twice if AUTO is showing).

are hooked over the tabs in the body of the appliance, before you proceed.

7 Open up a #4 paper filter, and put it into the filter holder.

8 Put filter-ground coffee into the filter. The amount will vary with the type of coffee and

individual taste, but we suggest two rounded teaspoons per cup of water.

fiddle with it, you might upset it.

31 At the time you set, the light will change from red to green, and the coffee maker will start up.

32 If you forget what time you’ve set it to, pressing the timer button will change the display to

show you the time you’ve set it to.

33 Remember to press the [ button after you’ve set the time, to bring AUTO up on the display,

or the timer won’t start working.
