How to turn on and off the Ricatech RC850?

To turn on, press the Power button until the screen appears. To turn off, hold the same button for more than 2 seconds until the device shuts off.

What music formats are supported?

The RC850 supports MP3, WMA, and APE formats. Files must be copied to the internal memory or a card (not included) via a computer.

How to transfer files from a PC?

Connect the player to the PC with the USB cable. The device appears as a removable disk (MSC mode). Simply copy the files to the desired folder.

How to adjust the equalizer?

In music playback mode, press MENU to access the submenu. Select Equalizer then choose from Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Pop, or Bass. Confirm with MENU.

How to use the voice recorder?

From the main menu, select Voice Recorder using the navigation keys, press MENU to enter. To record, press the play/start button. Recordings are saved in MP3 or WMA format.

How to repeat a specific section of a song (A-B mode)?

During playback, press VOL to mark the start point (A). Press VOL again for the end point (B). The selection repeats in a loop. A third press of VOL returns to normal playback.

What is the battery life?

Battery life is about 15 hours in MP3 playback. The lithium-ion battery recharges via the USB port. Charging time is not specified but takes about 2-3 hours.

How to reset the device in case of a problem?

Go to System Settings > System Tools > Reset. Select 'Yes' to restore factory settings. This operation clears settings but not files.

How to display synchronized lyrics?

Create a text file with the .LRC extension containing the lyrics in MM:SS (time) format. Save it with the same name as the song and copy it to the same folder. The lyrics will display automatically during playback.

What to do if the screen remains black?

To turn on the player: push the power button to on, the player comes on.
make sure that the power is on:

To turn off the player: Press and hold the OFF/ON button for more than 2 seconds, until the player turns off.

Then press and hold the OFF/ON button until the player comes on and switches to "active" mode/off.

Music mode

1. Turn on the player

2. Press MENU to enter the Music mode.

3. Press to start playing music files.

4. During playback:

4.1 Press the buttons to select the previous/next music file.
4.2 Press and hold the buttons for fast backward/fast forward.
4.3 Press the button to momentarily pause playback; press and hold this button to stop playback completely.
4.4 Press and hold the VOL button then press the button to

lower/raise the volume.

5.1 In playback mode, press the MENU button to enter the playback submenu.
5.2 Press the buttons to select an option in the menu.
5.3 Press MENU to confirm your selection.
5.4 Press button return to the previous interface.

6.3.1 Press the buttons to select the speed.

6.3.2 Press MENU button to confirm.

6.4 File Browse

The user can save files in a pre-existing folder. To do this, the folder must first be created using a PC.

Music mode:

6.4.1 Press the MENU button to enter the submenu, then use the buttons to select the files.

6.4.2 Press the MENU button again to enter the root

directory.

6.4.3 Use the K buttons to make your selection.

6.4.4 Press MENU button to confirm.

1. A-B repeat mode

In playback mode:

7.1 Press the VOL button to confirm the starting point (A).

7.2 Press the VOL again to confirm the stopping point (B). The player will now begin repeating the sequence between points A and B.

7.3 Press the VOL button again to return to normal playback mode.

Modification of synchro lyrics:

1. Open WordPad to modify the music lyrics that are displayed in synchro.
