What to do if the CD player displays 'No disc'?

Check that the disc is inserted with the label facing up. Clean the disc with a soft cloth from the center outward. Let the unit adjust to room temperature if condensation occurs. Replace the disc if it is scratched.

How to improve radio reception?

Fully extend the FM antenna and change its position. Move the system away from the TV or other electronic devices. For AM, rotate the unit to find the best signal.

Why does the cassette deck not work?

Clean the playback heads and tape path with a cotton swab dampened with alcohol. Use only Type I (Normal) cassettes. Make sure the anti-erase tabs are not broken.

How to clean the unit?

For the cabinet, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild detergent. For discs, wipe from the center outward with a soft cloth. For cassette heads, use a cleaning cassette or a cotton swab with alcohol.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Install new batteries respecting polarity (+/-). Point the remote control towards the infrared sensor (iR SENSOR) on the unit. Replace batteries if they are used.

How to set the clock?

Press the CLOCK/TIMER button twice. The hours flash, adjust with TITILE-/+. Press CLOCK/TIMER again, the minutes flash, adjust and confirm.

How to program the timer to wake up with radio?

In the on state, press and hold CLOCK/TIMER for 2 seconds. Select source (CD or TUNER) with TITILE-/+, confirm with CLOCK/TIMER. Set hours/minutes and confirm. Activate with TIMER ON/OFF.

What to do if recording from CD does not start?

Check that the cassette has its protection tabs intact. Insert the cassette correctly. Press RECORD ● on the deck; CD playback will start automatically after 7 seconds.

Sound quality is poor or absent, what to check?

Make sure volume is not at minimum. Disconnect headphones. Check that the speakers are connected to the SPEAKERS terminals with the wires properly clamped (+ and -).

How to activate shuffle playback?

Press the SHUFFLE button before or during playback until 'SHUF' appears. For repeat, use REPEAT. To return to normal mode, press again until the indications disappear.
