How to clean the blender?

Wash the lid, jug and blade unit by hand or in the dishwasher (max 60°C). Clean the motor unit with a damp sponge wrung out well.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No, never pour hot liquid into the blender to avoid an explosion due to sudden vaporization.

What is the maximum capacity of the jug?

The maximum capacity is 800 ml. Do not exceed this limit.

How to use the Pulse function?

Briefly press the on/off control for pulses. Ideal for the initial blending phase.

What if ice cubes are not properly crushed?

Add a little extra liquid and blend again. If the ice cubes rise, turn off, stir with a plastic spatula and blend in pulses.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

Yes, the lid, jug and blade unit are dishwasher safe provided the temperature does not exceed 60°C.

How to disassemble the blade unit?

Unscrew the ring from the jug counterclockwise, then remove the blades and the seal.

What to do in case of breakdown or malfunction?

Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it. Contact an authorized technical assistance center for any repair.

Can children use the appliance?

Children over 12 years old can use it under adult supervision. Younger children should not play with the appliance.

What is the warranty of the blender?

SAFETY WARNINGS

• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised assistance service.
• Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data reported on the identification plate corresponds to that of the available electric mains. The identification plate is attached to the device.
• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a BLENDER for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.
• The appliance may be used by children below 12 years of age, by persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or persons lacking experience only if they have received prior instructions concerning its safe use and if they are informed as to the dangers related to use of the appliance. Children may not play with the appliance. Appliance cleaning and maintenance cannot be completed by children without adult supervision. Keep the appliance and power supply cable from children under 12 when the appliance is on or cooling down.

• DO NOT touch the device with damp or wet hands or feet.

• DO NOT pull on the cord or device to unplug the latter from the mains socket.

• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun).

- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.

- In case of fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and tamper with it. If the device needs to be repaired, contact an authorised technical assistance centre.

- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.

- NEVER submerge the appliance in water or other liquids and never place it under running water.

- The appliance is not meant to be operated by an external timer or with a separate remote control system or similar systems.

• DO NOT use the appliance near a washbasin full of water. When used the appliance must be placed in such a way that it cannot fall in the washbasin.

• DO NOT use near a hob. Make sure the cable does not come into contact with hot, incandescent surfaces, open flames, pots and other tools.

• DO NOT touch moving parts.

• DO NOT remove the blender's lid during during operation.

• DO NOT pour hot liquids in the blender, to avoid generating an explosion caused by a sudden vaporisation.

• Failure to follow these instructions or misuse of the product may cause injury.
• Pay special attention when handling sharp blades when processed material is removed from the bowl for cleaning purposes.

The on/off switch button may be used as follows:

HOW TO CLEAN THE LID (1), THE JUG (2)

AND THE BLADE UNIT (3)

• Lift the jug (2) from the motor unit (4) [Fig B].
• Remove the lid (1) from the jug (2) [Fig C].
  • Turn the ring (3c) anticlockwise to remove it from the jug (2) [Fig D].
• Remove the blades (3b) and the gasket (3a) from the jug (2) [Fig E].
  • The lid (1), the jug (2) and the blade unit (3) may be cleaned as follows:

- by hand, with water and a detergent;

- in the dishwasher, making sure the water's maximum temperature does not exceed 60^ .

CLEANING THE MOTOR UNIT (4)

- Clean the motor unit (4) and the power supply cable (6) with a damp and well squeezed sponge.

USE

ATTENTION!

• Do not use the appliance with no ingredients in it.
• Do not use the appliance with solid ingredients.

Do not introduce more than 800 ml of ingredients.

• Start the blender by pressing the on/off switch button (5).
• Stop the blender by releasing the on/off switch button (5).
• If necessary, pour in additional liquid via the lid's hole (1) [Fig H].

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:

The ice has not been chopped properly.	Only ice was introduced in the appliance.	Chop the ice by adding some liquid as well.
	The ice remains on top of the blades.	Switch the appliance off.Open the lid (1).Mix the ice and the liquid again with a plastic spatula.Close the lid (1).Blend by activating the pulse mode.
There are lumps in the pesto.	These is not enough basil.	Switch the appliance off.Open the lid (1).Add more basil, until it reaches the 800 ml level.Mix with a plastic spatula.Close the lid (1).Blend by activating the continuous mode.
