How to connect the travel reader to the Internet?

Plug the Ethernet cable into the WAN port, then connect the other end to the Internet port of the hotel room or router. Turn on the device, select the WiFi network Eminent_4610_xxxxxx and connect.

How to secure my wireless connection?

Open your browser and type 10.10.1.1. Go to Settings > Wireless > Security, choose WPA2 as Encryption, enter a password in 'Pre-Shared Key', then click 'Apply Changes'. Reconnect with that password.

How to use the storage function to stream files?

Plug a USB drive or SD card (not both at the same time) into the reader. Install the EMINENT 4610 app from the App Store. Open the app and click on Videos, Photos, Music or Documents to stream.

How to download files to my iPhone, iPad or iPod?

In the app, choose 'Videos', 'Photos', 'Music', 'Documents' or 'Folder View'. Press the 'Edit' button, select a file, then press the key and choose 'Download'. Downloaded files are located in 'Collections'.

How to upload images and movies to the travel reader?

Go to 'Collections', select 'Upload from Camera Roll', choose the files, then press 'Done' and choose the location. Press 'Done' again to confirm.

What to do if the battery is low?

The power LED turns orange. Plug in the charger via the designated USB port. The red charging LED turns on and off when the battery is fully charged.

How to reset the device?

Press the Reset button (in the hole) for at least 3 seconds. The blue WiFi LED turns off and factory settings are restored.

What file formats are supported?

Only file formats supported by the Apple device (iPhone/iPad/iPod) are accessible. Refer to Apple documentation for compatible formats.

2.0 (EN) Interface & LED Indicator description

1) Power LED green : the power is on
1) Power LED orange : battery is low
2) WiFi LED blue : Wireless LAN is working
3) Access LED green : media access
4) Battery Charger LED red : battery is charging (turns off when fully charged)

Reset : press the hole button for minimum of 3 seconds. The blue WiFi LED will turn off and factory setting will be restored.

1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN port
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the Internet port of the hotel room (or Router)
3. Choose the WiFi network Eminent_4610_xxxxxx and connect
4. You are now connected to the internet

3.1 Secure your connection

We strongly advise you to secure your wireless connection. You only need to do these steps once.

1. Open your browser and type 10.10.1.1 in the URL address
2. Click on "Settings"

2. Select "Security"

1. Select Encryption and choose "WPA2"
2. Type your password in the "Pre-Shared Key"
