Wall or ceiling mounting - When mounting the prod- uct on a wall or ceiling, be sure to install the product according to the method recommended by the manu- facturer. Power Lines - An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or cir- cuits as contact with them might be fatal. Protective Attachment Plug - The product is equipped With an attachment plug having overload protection. This is a safety feature. See Instruction Manual for replacement or resetting of protective device. If re- placement of the plug is required, be sure the service technician has used a replacement plug specified by the manufacturer that has the same overload protec- tion as the original plug. Stand - Do not place the product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod or table. Placing the product on an un- stable base can cause the product to fall, resulting in serious personal injuries as well as damage to the product. Use only a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or ta- ble recommended by the manufacturer or sold with the product. When mounting the product on a wall, be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. ( H Radio frequency exposure ] Speaker System PS-935 is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in operation it communicates with a Bluetooth® equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4 to 2.48 GHz. This product is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when using compatible mobile phone. ( H Battery information ] - Arechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. + Anew battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above 104°F (40°C) or below 41°F (5'C). + For maximum battery capacity, use the battery at room temperature. - Ifthe battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can only be charged in temperatures between 41°F (5'C) and 104'F (40 C).

CAUTION: Internal Lithium battery in the unit should not be replaced by end users due to danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced and must be replaced with the exact type battery by authorized service providers. e Use the unit on a firm, level surface free from vibration. e Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, strong magnetic fields, excessive dust, humidity and electronic/electrical equipment (home computers, facsimiles, etc.) which generate electrical noise. e Do not place anything on top of the unit. e Do not expose the unit to moisture, to temperatures higher than 104°F (40°C) or to extremely low temperatures. e If the unit does not work properly, switch off the unit and then switch it on again. e In case of an electrical storm, unplug the unit for safety. e Hold the AC/DC adaptor by the head when removing it from the wall socket, as pulling the lead can damage internal wires. e The AC/DC adaptor is used as a disconnect device and shall always remain readily operable. e Do not remove the outer cover, as this may result in electric shock. Refer internal service to your local SHARP service facility. e The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc. e No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus. e Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Always follow basic safety precautions when using this appliance, especially when children are present. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. e Do not disconnect or connect the power cord with wet hands. It may cause an electric shock. CAUTION: e Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type e High or low extreme temperatures that a battery can be subjected to during use, storage or transportation; and low air pressure at high altitude. e Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard (for example, in the case of some lithium battery types); e Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion; e Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas; e Abattery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas. e Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, file or the like. General control ( & To turn the power on or off ) ( m Microphone Priority mode ) Press the power ON/OFF switch to turn the unit on/off. Note: In USB / Bluetooth / AUDIO IN mode, when the unit is not receiving any signal for around 15 minutes, it will automatically switch into standby mode. Press the INPUT / STAND-BY button to turn on the unit again. Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may be recognized as “no audio signal”. This will affect the capability of signal detection from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting on the audio source player in order to resume playback. Tuner operation Listen to FM radio broadcasts. Press the INPUT/STAND-BY button repeatedly on the unit until the display appears FM radio frequency. Note: Extend the wired aerial to its full length in order to get the best reception. ( & Tuning to a station ] Tune to a station by pressing the 1&«/<«« or »>/»»1 button repeatedly. Press and hold to search continuously. The station frequency is shown on the display. ( M Auto preset memory/scan ) To scan for stations within reception range and save them to preset memory automati- cally, press »/I1I and hold the button. After the unit is finished scanning, the unit will automatically tune to preset number 1 (CH01). This unit can save up to 30 FM stations.
