USER MANUAL Saint Algue Gold L SA-2001 SAINT ALGUE
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concer- ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
= Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Ithe supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, i its service agent or similarly qualified per- sons in order to avoid a hazard.
When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use, since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electri- cal cireuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
WARNING! Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

— Check the delivery contents for any missing items or any possible transport damage. IFthe appliance is damaged or some parts are missing, do not use it and bring it back to your dealer.
— Remove all packaging materials and keep them for future use. — Fully uncoil the power cord.
— Clean the appliance with à soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe ith a dry soft cloth.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WARNING! The surfaces of the appliance are lisble to get hot during use and will stay hot for some time after operation. Only touch the appliance by the gripping surface. Keep the heating plates well away from your body and do not press them on your hair for too long,
NOTE: Always ensure your hair is clean and tangle-free before using the appliance.
NOTE: The appliance features an automatic switching-off function. lt smitches off auto matically after continuous operating for approx. 1 hour.
— Slide the locking device backward to disengage the heating plates. — Connect the appliance to the power supply. The display shows OFF”
— Keep pressing the on/off button for 1 - 2 seconds to switch on the appliance. The dis- play shows the default temperature setting 210 °C.
— The temperature of the heating plates starts to increase instantly. The temperature and increasing indicators are flashing on the display.
— Press the “+” and _” buttons to select the desired heating temperature (150 °C /170 °C /190 °C /210 °C /230 °C).
— Keep pressing the “-” button for 2 - 3 seconds to lock the “4” and “” buttons. The symbol à is indicated on the display. Keep pressing the “-” button again for 2 - 3 cond to unlock the +” and "buttons he symbol j dsappears from the display.
— After the heating plates reach the set temperature, the temperature and increasing indicators will be constantly indicated on the display.
— Holdthe appliance on the gripping surface, lamp a strand of hair between the heating plates and slonly move the appliance down towards the tips of your hair. Make sure not Lo press the heating plates on your hair for too long.
— When the operation is finished, keep pressing the on/off button for 1 - 2 seconds to switch off the appliance.
— Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Place it on a heat-resistant surface or hangit onto a hook to let it cool down.
— Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and et it cool doun completely.
— De not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali abrasive or disin- fecting agents as they may damage its surface.
— Do not immerse the appliance in water or otherliquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical parts do not become wet or damp.
— Remove any hair left on the appliance and heating plates.
— Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe ith a dry soft cloth.
— The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely.
— Before storage, always make sure that the appliance is completely dry and cooled don.
— Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
