PLEASE KEEP THIS INFORMATION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE DEVICE. WARNINGS This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concer- ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by child- ren without supervision. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use, since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched o. For additional protection, the installation of a residual cur- rent device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice. WARNING! Do not use this appliance near bath- tubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Remove all packaging materials before using the appliance. Keep the packaging materials away from children they pose a risk of swallowing and suocation. Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating label corres- ponds with the voltage of the power supply. Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects in any opening of the appliance and do not obstruct the air vents. Protect the appliance against heat. Do not place close to heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.8 WARNING - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not immerse the appliance and its plug in water or other liquids. When the appliance is connected to the power supply, never leave it unattended. Always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface. To avoid overheating or fire, do not cover the appliance when it is switched on. Do not use hair sprays, water vaporizers or any other va- porizers during use of the appliance. Always turn the appliance o and hang it onto a hook, if any, after use or when making a pause; do not place it on the edges of basins or bathtubs. Should the appliance drop into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water to retrieve the appliance. DESCRIPTION This appliance is intended for curling dry hair. Do not use it for curling synthetic or wet hair and do not use it on pets. The appliance is only intended for household indoor use. Do not use the appliance for other purposes. Any other use might lead to damage of the appliance, property or personal injury. The manufacturer will accept no liability for damage or injuries resulting from improper use or non-compliance with this manual.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

WARNING! Packaging materials are not a toy! Do not allow children to play with packa- ging materials, as they pose a choking hazard if swallowed! — Check the delivery contents for any missing items or any possible transport damage. If the appliance is damaged or some parts are missing, do not use it and bring it back to your dealer. — Remove all packaging materials and keep them for future use. — Fully uncoil the power cord. — Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe with a dry soft cloth.9 PRODUCT OVERVIEW

WARNING! The surfaces of the appliance are liable to get hot during use and will stay hot for some time after operation. Only touch the appliance by the handle and lever. Keep the heating barrels (including the insulation tips) well away from your body and do not press them on your hair for too long. NOTE: Always ensure your hair is clean and tangle-free before using the ap- pliance. NOTE: The appliance features an automatic switching-o function. It switches o auto- matically after continuous operating for approx. 1 hour. — Connect the appliance to the power supply. — Keep pressing the on/o button for 1 - 2 seconds to switch on the appliance. The display shows the default temperature setting 180 °C. — The temperature of the heating barrels starts to increase instantly. The increasing tem- perature is shown on the display. — Press the “+” and “-” buttons to select the desired heating temperature (120 °C / 130 °C / 140 °C / 150 °C / 160 °C / 170 °C / 180 °C / 190 °C / 200 °C / 210 °C). — After the heating barrels reach the set temperature, the temperature will be constantly indicated on the display. — Hold the appliance on the handle and press the lever to open it. Clamp a strand of hair (approx. 5 cm in wide, not too thick) between the heating barrels for approx. 5 - 8 se- conds. Make sure not to keep the heating barrels on your hair for too long. — Press the lever to release the curled hair afterward. — Repeat the same operation over the entire strand of the hair. — Let the hair cool down before styling it further. — When the operation is finished, keep pressing the on/o button for 1 - 2 seconds to switch o the appliance. — Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Place it on a heat-resistant surface or hang it onto a hook to let it cool down.10 CLEANING — Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely. — Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfec- ting agents as they may damage its surface. — Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical parts do not become wet or damp. — Remove any hair left on the appliance, especially on the heating barrels. — Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Wipe with a dry soft cloth. — The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely. STORAGE — Before storage, always make sure that the appliance is completely dry and cooled down. — Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children. This symbol, displayed on the product or on its packaging, indicates that this product complies with the European Directive 2012/19/EU and must not be disposed of with household waste. It must be taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment.
