SURGELATION: Bouton de surgélation
Surgélation (bouton)
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Warning: Except the items recommended by manufacturer, DO NOT use any electric appliance in the units.
- Warning: Never try to use this appliance for applications or in a way which is not described in the instruction, otherwise severe hazards may occur.
- Warning: If the supply cord is damaged, or if the appliance has malfunctions or it has been damaged in any manner , please return the appliance to the manufacturer, its authorized service agent or similarly
qualified persons for examination, repair or adjustment in order to avoid a hazard.

- Always handle the appliance to avoid any damage.
- Caution: Do not connect grouting wire to a water or gas pipe.
- Strictly no storing strong base, strong acid, organic
solvent and corrosive goods together with food.
- Please refer to the "Trouble Shooting" references when the unit is facing some problems. Do not attempt to solve the problem on your own, please refer to certified technician only.
- As regards the information for the installation, operation, maintenance and disposal of the device, refer to the following parts of the manual.

Warning; Risk of fire / flammable materials
- WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
- WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
- Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances.

To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:
-
Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
- Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 ~h ; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
- Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food.
- Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice cream and making ice cubes.
- One-, two- and three-star compartments are not suitable for the freezing of fresh food.
- If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

TRANSPORT AND HANDING
When transportation, hold the base and lift the refrigerator carefully with an angle inferior at 45 degree. Never hold the door handle as support. Never place it upside down nor horizontally. Push refrigerator on its basis and place it thanks to its roller feet.
INSTALLATION
To fix stably, the appliance must be placed on a flat and solid surface. It should not be laid on any soft material.
Choose a well-ventilated place. A space of at least 10cm must be left around the refrigerator.
Choose a location where there is no heat source. Keep the refrigerator away from direct sunlight or other appliance producing heat.
Choose a dry and well-ventilated place where there is no corrosive air.
TEST
Clean the parts of the refrigerator with lukewarm water on a soft cloth or with a neutral detergent and with clear water, then wipe them dry.
Notes: Electric parts of the refrigerator can only be wiped by dry cloth.
Turn the thermostat knob on the "3" position and turn on electricity. The compressor and the light inside the refrigerator begin to work.
Close the door and wait 30 minutes. If the temperature in the freezer compartment decreased obviously, it shows that the refrigerator system works well. When the refrigerator operates for a period of time, the temperature controller will automatically set the temperature on conditions that the door is not too often opened.
If the above steps are successful, the trial operations are finished. The refrigerator works normally.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The temperature in the freezer is controlled by the thermostat control regulator in the upper the freezer. Turn the thermostat control regulator with key attached up or down to regulate the temperature inside the freezer. The markings on control regulator indicated the "Min, Max" for the different temperature grades. The temperature decreases with position MIN being the warmest and position MAX being the coldest.
Set the control to the middle position for normal use, but you may set the control to other positions of you find the middle is too cold or too warm.

SUPER: Super freeze indicator
SUPER FREEZE: Super freeze button
Super Freeze (Button)
If you need the temperature inside freezer to drop quickly, please press the button and the indicator of Super will be on. The appliance runs in SUPER FREEZE.
If you need the model to stop the function of SUPER FREEZE, please repress the button and the indicator of SUPER will be off.
Note: the function of SUPER FREEZE will be auto-stopped around running 24 hours and the appliance will recover to its former status.
Alarm For Freezer
If the door keeps open for a long time or the appliance is full with food, the inside temperature will reach to high degree (≥ -8^) , it will be working.

Alarm condition: T ≥ - 8^ C ,excessive temperature indicator is flashing.
-
When temperature T < -8^ C , excessive temperature indicator is off.
Note: For the first time of the appliance to run, the ALARM will keep working until the temperature reach the value.
Store Frozen Food
When using the freezer for the first time or after defrosting, turn the temperature control to set MAX for at least two hours before introducing the food to be stored.
All frozen food products you purchase should be placed in the freezer as soon as possible to avoid the frozen food from defrosting.
Storage recommendation printed on the packaging of frozen food by the manufacturers should be always be followed
. Freezing Fresh Food
Ensure that your freezing operations are carried out under the most hygienic conditions as freezing alone does not sterilize the food. It is advisable to freeze the food by packing it into separate meal portions and not in bulk form. Never put hot or even warm foodstuffs into the freezer. Prior to storing the frozen food, pack it in plastic bags, aluminum sheets or freezing containers and place into the freezer. See the data sheet at the rear of this booklet for the maximum permissible amount in kilograms of fresh food that can be frozen in any 24 hour period with a room temperature of 25^ . Never freeze more than the maximum permissible.
FREEZING AND STORING FOOD IN THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT
Using the freezer compartment
- To store deep-frozen food.
- To make ice cubes.
- To freeze food.
Note: Ensure that the freezer compartment door has been closed properly.
Purchasing frozen food
- Packaging must not be damaged.
- Use by the 'use by /best before/best by/' date.
- If possible, transport deep-frozen food in an insulated bag and place quickly in the freezer compartment.
Storing frozen food
Store at -18^ or colder. Avoid opening the freezer compartment door unnecessarily.
Freezing fresh food
Freeze fresh and undamaged food only.
To retain the best possible nutritional value, flavour and colour, vegetables should be blanched before freezing.
Aubergines, peppers, zucchini and asparagus do not require blanching.
Note: Keep food to be frozen away from food which is already frozen.
- The following foods are suitable for freezing:
Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish, potato dishes, soufflés and desserts.
- The following foods are not suitable for freezing:
Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, eggs in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
Packing frozen food
To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out, place food in airtight packaging.
- Place food in packaging.
- Remove air.
- Seal the wrapping.
- Label packaging with contents and dates of freezing.
Suitable packaging:
Plastic film, tubular film made of polyethylene, aluminium foil.
These products are available from specialist outlets.
Recommended storage times of frozen food in the freezer compartment
These times vary depending on the type of food. The food that you freeze can be preserved from 1 to 12 months (minimum at -18°C).

Never forget:
- When you freeze fresh foods with a 'use by /best before/best by/' date, you must freeze them before this date expires.
- Check that the food was not already frozen. Indeed, frozen food that has thawed completely must not be refrozen.
Cleaning your freezer
- Before you start to clean your freezer remove the mains plug from the power supply.
- Use lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda.
- Clean with a cloth soaked in this solution and then dry with a soft cloth.
PROLONGED OFF PERIODS
- If the freezer is not in use for a long period of time, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the freezer from the main supply by removing the plug from the wall socket.
- Clean and dry the inside as instructed under the heading of cleaning the freezer.
- Leave the door open to prevent any unpleasant smells from building up while the freezer is not in use.
This freezer has been built with the door hinges on the right. If you want to change the opening direction, please follow the instruction below.
WARNING: When reversing the door, the appliance must not be connected to the mains. Remove the plug from the mains beforehand.



- Remove the cover of the screws(1), and unscrew the screws(2), then remove the top cover.
- Remove the decoration of the top cover(3), and fix it on the opposite side.
- Unscrew the upper hinge (4) and remove it.
- Unscrew the upper hinge pivot (5) and place it on the opposite side.
- Push the door up to remove it. Put the door to one side and lay it down gently on a padded surface.
- Remove the hinge pin (6) that is in the bottom of the door. Turn it over and insert it at the other side of the door.
- Lay the appliance on a padded surface. Remove the bottom hinge (7) and adjustable foot (8), then change the hinge axes to left hole. Position and fix the lower hinge by screws.
- Lift up the appliance to vertical position and fix the upper hinge then adjust the door on the horizontal level and fix the screws.
- Position and screw the top cover, laying the appliance on an appropriate place.
TROUBLESHOOTING

If your device shows the other symptoms that those described above, please call the service after sale of the shop a retailer.
The following symptoms are not breakdowns:
- The noise of the cooling liquid which circulates in pipes can be heard, it is normal.
- The humidity on the surface outside of the device during the wet seasons is not a problem of the device; you just need to wipe it with a dry soft cloth.
- The compressor and the condenser can warm more during the periods of strong heat.
- The frame of the door is a bit hot; it means that the condenser works to evacuate the humidity of air.
