IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Battery handling and usage

Only adults should handle the batteries (not included). Do not allow a child to use this unit unless the battery cover is securely attached to the unit. The battery type used in the unit is 2 AAA size batteries which are accessible and can be replaced. Remove the battery cover from the back of the unit and then remove the batteries.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Insert 2 x AAA size batteries, observing the proper polarity markings in the battery compartment.
  3. Replace the battery cover, making sure that a click is heard.

NOTE: Remove the batteries from the radio if they will not be used for an extended period of time.

  1. Turn the volume control knob to turn on the radio.
  2. Select the desired band by setting the band selector to AM or FM position.
  3. Adjust the volume using the volume control knob.
  4. Turn the tuning control to tune to the desired frequency and station.

  1. To turn off the radio, turn the volume control knob fully anticlockwise to the OFF position until a click is heard.

USING HEADPHONES

You can connect headphones (not included) to the.

When you have headphones connected, the radio
speakers will be switched off and all sound is via the
