How to connect my phone via Bluetooth?

Enable Bluetooth on your phone, search for 'EDIFIER R2000DB' and select it. If a PIN code is requested, enter '0000'. Make sure your device supports the A2DP profile.

What to do if there is no sound?

Check that the speaker is turned on and the volume is not at minimum. Make sure the input cable is properly connected and the audio source is playing a signal. Try restarting the system by turning it off and on again.

How to select the input source?

Press the main volume knob to cycle between Line in1, Line in2, Optical, and Bluetooth. The indicator light changes color: green for Line in, red for Optical, blue for Bluetooth.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the CR2025 battery is correctly installed and in good condition. Protect the remote from heat and moisture. If it still does not work, replace the battery.

How to adjust treble and bass?

Use the treble and bass controls on the back of the main speaker. Turn them clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease.

Can I connect a TV to this speaker?

Yes, if your TV has an optical or RCA output. Use the supplied optical cable or an appropriate RCA cable. Then select the corresponding input on the speaker.

Why does the speaker produce background noise?

Check that the input cables are well shielded and keep away from interference sources (phones, routers). If the noise persists, try another audio source or cable.

What is the maximum power of the speaker?

The RMS output power is 24W × 2 for treble and 36W × 2 for bass (with DRC enabled). The total power is therefore 120W RMS.

How to clean the speakers?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the cabinet. Never use chemical or abrasive products. Ensure not to block the ventilation openings.

Thank you for purchasing the Edifier R2000DB Multimedia Bookshelf Speakers. For generations, Edifier has provided powered speaker products to satisfy the needs of our customers. The R2000DB speakers offer a whole new way to hear the world through your home entertainment, personal computer, and mini home theater systems with great sound performance. Please read this manual to get the most out of t his system.

The lightning flash with arrowhead inside the triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure that may be of a sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable Parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified Service personnel only.

Battery loading:

Please refer to the illustration to open the battery compartment, insert the CR 2025 battery and close the compartment.

Note:

1. Do not place the remote control in places that are hot and humid.
2. Do not charge the batteries.
3. Remove the batteries when unused for long period of time.
4. The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as direct sun, fire or similar.

Only the standard PCM audio signals of sampling clock (44.1/48/96KHz) are adaptable in optical mode

Operational guide

Bluetooth® setup

① Turn on R2000DB speakers and switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote or pushing the volume dial on the back panel of the active speaker until the indicator LED turns blue.
② Set your input device (mobile phone, tablet device, MP3/MP4 player etc.) to search for Bluetooth device and select "EDIFIER R2000DB".
③ Pair your device with "EDIFIER R2000DB".
④ Play the audio on your device and adjust the volume to a desired level.
⑤ To disconnect Bluetooth: Press & hold

Note:

1. Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may be different between different source devices, depending on the software versions of source devices.
2. To enjoy the full Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your mobile device has A2DP profile.
3. PIN code for connection is "0000" if needed.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
No sound	• Switch the EDIFIER R2000DB speakers off then on and reconnect the audio source. • Make sure the master volume control knob on the back is turned up. • Ensure the audio input is connected and input is set correctly on the speakers. • Check if there is a signal from the audio source.
Cannot connect via Bluetooth	• Ensure Bluetooth functionality is enabled and compatible on your Bluetooth device. • Move the device closer and retry the connection. • Try another Bluetooth device for connection
The R2000DB does not turn on	• Check if power is connected, and if the wall outlet is switched on. • Switch the system off then on and reconnect to the audio source.
