IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES

When using any kind of electrical appliance, some basic safety precautions must always be followed, including the following:

1.- To avoid possible electric shocks, do not place the cable, plug or appliance in water or in any other liquid. Do not insert screwdrivers or metallic items inside the appliance.
2.- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician, or by someone else authorised by the manufacturer. In the event of handling of appliances by non-authorised people, the guarantee will immediately cease to be valid.
3.- Do not allow cables to hang from tables or worktops, nor to come into contact with hot surfaces.
4.- Do not use appliances if they are damaged.
5.- Switch off appliances before changing accessories or auxiliary parts that move when appliances are in use.
6.- To disconnect electrical appliances, wait until the engine stops and then unplug the cable from the electric socket.
7.- Do not leave appliances working unattended. Ensure that the engine has come to a complete stop before dismantling appliances. Unplug appliances after each use.
8.- Avoid contact with moving parts. Take special care when cleaning appliances.
9.- Do not allow children to use electrical appliances. Do not leave appliances unattended when in use close to children.
10.- Only use this electrical appliance for its designed use, as described in this manual. Do not use parts or accessories without the manufacturer's recommendation.
11.- DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: Do not dispose of this product as unclassified municipal rubbish. Due to the use of electrical and electronic parts, this product must be collected separately, as ordered in the Spanish Royal Decree 208/2005 on the separate collection of electrical products.

Warranty Information

This manual provides the installation, safety and operating instructions for the Electric blender. We recommend all installation, operating and safety instructions appearing in this manual to be read before installation or operation.

Electric blender is a product of extensive research and field testing. The materials used were selected for maximum durability, attractive appearance and optimum performance. Every unit is thoroughly inspected and tested before shipment.

IMPORTANT! Keep these instructions for future reference. If the unit changes ownership, be sure this manual accompanies the equipment.

WARNING

1.- Plug Electric blender into a properly grounded electrical outlet of the correct voltage, size, and plug configuration. If the plug and receptacle do not match, contact a qualified electrician to determine the proper voltage and size, and install the proper electrical outlet.
2.- To avoid any injury, turn the power switch off, unplug the unit from the power source and allow to cool before performing any maintenance.
3.- For safe and proper operation, the unit must be located at a reasonable distance from combustible walls and materials.
4.- Leave a free space of at least 30~cm (12") for the frontal empying area to allow correct, safe working.
5.- To prevent any injury or damage do not pull unit by power cord.

CAUTIONS

1.- Locate the unit at the proper counter height, in an area that is convenient for use. The location should be level to prevent the unit or its contents from accidentally falling, and strong enough to support the weight of the unit.

2.- Do not place anything on top of the Electric blender; doing so could damage Electric blender or subject personnel to possible injury.
3.- When setting up the unit for operation, make sure power to the unit is off. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
4.- To avoid damage to the unit or injury to personnel never use the blender without liquid in the bowl.
5.- Unit is not weatherproof. For safe and proper operation locate the unit indoors where the ambient air temperature is a minimum of 70^ ( 21^ ) and a maximum of 85^ ( 29^ ).
6.- Do not locate the Electric blender in an area subject to excessive temperature or grease from grills, fryers, etc. Excessive temperature could cause damage to the unit.
7.- Do not place Electric blender in an area that restrict air flow around the front or rear of the unit.
8.- Some exterior surfaces on the unit will get hot. Use caution when touching these areas to avoid injury.

INSTALLATION

UNPACKING

1.- Open the large box. Remove all packing materials and protective covering from the unit and parts.

OPERATION

1.- Remove the machine and all its accessories. Remove the packaging before using the appliance. Do not throw away the packaging until having checked to see that the appliance works properly.
2.- Make sure to place the mixer over a flat, hard surface, avoiding extremely hot areas or other dangerous elements. Verify that the connection cable and electric plug are in good condition.
3.- Make sure that you have a space greater than 30~cm on both sides of the appliance, especially in the front (user area).
4.- Before starting the mixer, clean all of the accessories with soap and water, then dry them, remembering that the motor unit can not be submerged in water, cleaning it only with a moist rag.

5.- To assemble the accessories follow these instructions:

a.- Place the toggle stand over a solid surface.
b.- Press the toggle button and raise the upper toggle stand 45^
c.- Place the food to be beat, mixed or kneaded in the bowl and place the bowl in its position.
d.- Press the toggle button and lower the upper toggle stand 45^
e.- Select the proper mixing accessory: beaters or mixers.
f.- Insert the rod into the geared wheel in the left insert (with a geared wheel symbol) on the motor unit.
g.- Insert the other rod into the other insert of the motor unit.
h.- Place the motor unit with the mixing rods over the toggle stand, making sure that the cable hangs over its slot. You will hear a click when the motor unit is properly inserted into the toggle base.

6.- Move the switch-speed selector to the desired speed, and the rods will mix automatically.
7.- Remember that you can press the turbo button at any time, making the rods rotate at maximum speed.
8.- After completing the beating, mixing or kneading, place the switch-speed selector on "0." For safety measures, disconnect the power cord from the mains.
9.- Press the toggle button and raise the motor unit 45^ with the rods and the upper toggle base. Remove the bowl with the finished product.
10. Remove the bowl from its position.
11. Press the fastening button and remove the motor unit with the rods.
12. Press the ejector button and remove the rods for cleaning.

If you want to beat, mix or knead with just the motor unit and rods, do not use the toggle base.

CLEANING

1.- Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected.
2.- Remove the rods and bowl for easier cleaning.
3.- Do not use aggressive cleaning products or metallic sponges that may scratch the stainless steel surfaces when cleaning. Make sure to dry all of the elements well before reassembling it.
4.- Remove the motor unit, remember that it unit may not be submerged in water. Clean it with a moist rag, making sure to dry it after cleaning.
5.- Be aware of all elements that come in contact with the food, since they may generate bacteria, bad odours and health problems.

MAINTENANCE

The mixer does not require special maintenance, but the following precautions should be taken:

a- Do not leave the mixer running unsupervised; the engine overheating may reduce its operating lifespan and/or generate irreparable damage.
b- Only use original spare parts; the use of parts supplied by other manufacturers may permanently damage the machine.
c- If you do not use the mixer for long periods of time, we recommend applying a thin layer of oil over the complete surface, even on the stainless steel bowl.

TECHNICAL INTERVENTION BY THE CLIENT OR BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL WILL RENDER THE GUARANTEE IMMEDIATELY INVALIDATED.
