How do I install the print driver on Windows?

Insert the provided Product Library DVD and run setup.exe. Choose Quick Installation or Custom Installation. Follow the on-screen instructions. For a network connection, select your machine from the list. After installation, print a test page to verify.

How to resolve a paper jam?

Open the covers indicated by the screen (rear cover, MP tray, etc.). Gently remove the jammed paper without tearing. Check that no pieces remain. Close all covers. Printing resumes automatically. See the Troubleshooting chapter for more details.

How to replace a toner cartridge?

Open the front cover. Remove the used cartridge by pushing the locking lever. Take the new cartridge out of its packaging, shake it gently to distribute the toner. Insert it until it clicks. Close the cover. The toner empty message disappears.

How to configure automatic duplex printing?

In the print driver, select the Layout or Finishing tab. Choose Duplex (long edge or short edge flip). You can also set this mode as default in the Printer Settings menu of the machine.

How to use private print to secure my documents?

In the print driver, go to Job and select Private Print. Set a password. Send the job. On the printer, go to Job Box > Private/Stored, enter your password and start printing.

How to access Command Center RX to configure the machine remotely?

From a web browser, enter the printer's IP address (found in Print Report > Configuration Page Print). Log in with the username Admin and the default password Admin. You can then modify network, security, etc. settings.

How to enable silent mode?

On the home screen, press Menu > Silent Mode and enable it. You can also configure it in the Common Settings menu to activate at certain times. This mode reduces noise at the expense of speed.

How to configure network settings (fixed IP address)?

Press Menu > Network > TCP/IP. Disable DHCP, then manually enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway. Confirm, then restart the network via Network Restart.

How to empty the toner recovery container?

Open the toner recovery container cover (located at the front, right side). Pull the container outward. Empty its contents into a plastic bag. Reinsert the container until it clicks. Close the cover. Important: do not reuse the recovered toner.

How to clean the inside of the printer for optimal print quality?

Turn off the printer. Open the covers and remove the toner cartridges. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the rollers and paper path. Avoid any contact with the drums. Replace the cartridges and close the covers. Refer to the Cleaning section in chapter 9.

1 Software shall mean the digitally encoded, machine readable, scalable outline data as encoded in a special format as well as the UFST Software.
