In creating the PRO DIGITAL, experts have combined an EC Digital motor and Profile™ technology. BaByliss has completely redesigned the hairdryer to reach new heights in terms of drying performance, precision blow-drying and capillary protection. With its many speed-temperature settings, its two concentrator nozzles and its diffuser, the PRO DIGITAL is THE optimum solution for all types of hair and hairstyles. It is quick and easy to use, with professional quality results. Its technical specifications are as follows: • 2,200 W power • a next generation EC Digital motor, with an exceptional service life (10,000 hours, 5 times longer than an AC hairdryer) • 4 switches: - O/I (1) - temperatures (2) temperature position 1 temperature position 2 - air flow speeds (3) speed 1 speed 2 - cold air button (4) • turbo function (5)
Ionic high air flow: the ions generated by the hairdryer neutralise the static electricity sometimes found during drying. They also increase the effectiveness of capillary care without rinsing for smoother, softer and shinier hair.
TThe PRO DIGITAL may be used with 2 concentrator nozzles: 6 × 90 mm (smooth blow-dry) and 4 × 75 mm
(structured blow-dry) and a diffuser. The 4 × 75 mm concentrator nozzle is exclusive to BaByliss Paris. Combined with the motor’s amazing power, it produces a very fast, precise air flow, for styling hair with professional results. In a single movement, blow-drying is structured and very long-lasting.
• Dry the hair with a towel. • Please refer to the appended explanatory chart to select the settings and the correct accessories for the type of hair and the desired result: drying, volume, smooth blow-dry or structured blow-dry. • In-depth knowledge of hair, its nature and its condition will help to treat it with all of the respect it deserves. It is important to consider these different factors for correct drying and blow-drying. The drying method depends on the thickness of the hair.
• The temperature selected depends on the condition of the hair: healthy hair or sensitive hair (dry, dyed, bleached, permanent). Sensitive hair is easy to recognise, owing to its dull, lifeless appearance. Repeated chemical treatments damage the cuticles, leading to dry hair that snaps more often, has split ends and lacks bounce.
The styling method depends on the natural style of the hair and the desired result.
• Securely attach the concentrator/diffuser.
• To dry, work the device using circular movements to diff use hot air into the hair.
• To give it volume, position the device fitted with the diff user over the tips and use circular movements.
• For a smooth blow-dry, start with the hair at the bottom, securing the top layers with a clip. Position the hairdryer fitted with the concentrator nozzle and, lock by lock, work from the root to the tip.
• For a structured blow-dry, position the hairdryer fitted with the concentrator nozzle at right angles to the brush, and work the lock selected from the root to the tip.
• The cold air button determines the style obtained for an optimum end result.
• The turbo function offers the dual advantage of increasing air speed and flow without increasing the temperature. It may be used to speed up the drying process or concentrate on specific locks of hair for certain finishes, without compromising hair protection. Simply press the button once to activate or deactivate the turbo function. MAINTENANCE To ensure that your hairdryer continues to operate effectively and to prolong the motor’s service life, we recommend regular cleaning of the rear grille with a soft, dry brush. To remove the filter, simply gently turn it and release it.
