How to load paper in the cassette?

Completely remove the cassette, lower the plate, adjust the guides to the paper size, load paper with print side down, then reinsert the cassette into the machine. Make sure the guides are in contact with the paper to avoid jams.

How to clear a paper jam?

Identify the jam location using the indicators. Open the relevant covers and carefully remove the jammed paper. Follow the instructions in chapter 10 of the manual for specific areas (cassette, MP tray, document feeder). Do not force to avoid damaging the machine.

How to replace the toner cartridge?

Open the front cover, remove the used cartridge, insert the new one aligning with the guides. Close the cover. Do not attempt to incinerate the cartridge and wash your hands if you come into contact with toner.

How to connect the printer to the network?

Connect an Ethernet cable between the machine and your network. Go to System > Network Settings > TCP/IP Configuration to set the IP address (DHCP or manual). The default IP address is assigned by DHCP if a server is present.

How to make a duplex copy?

Place the original in the feeder or on the platen. On the copy screen, select the Duplex option and choose the desired mode (e.g., 1->2). Press Start. The manual details configurations in chapter 3.

How to send a document by email?

Place the original in the feeder or on the platen. Press the Send key, enter the email address via the address book or manually. Configure SMTP settings via COMMAND CENTER beforehand. The sender address must be valid for delivery.

How to set the date and time?

Press System Menu/Counter, select Common Settings > Date Setting. Configure the time zone, daylight saving time, then the date and time. The time zone must be set before the date to avoid errors.

How to clean the exposure glass?

Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord. Open the original cover, clean the glass with a soft dry cloth. Do not use chemical products that could damage the surface.

What to do if the screen displays 'Call technician'?

Note the displayed error code. Turn off the machine, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on. If the message persists, contact an authorized technician. Do not attempt to repair internal components yourself.

How to save toner?

Enable EcoPrint mode in copy or print settings. This mode uses less toner by printing lighter. You can also use duplex mode to reduce paper consumption.
