How to load paper in the drawers?

Pull the drawer towards you, fan the paper, then place it in the drawer aligning the guides. Do not exceed the fill line. Close the drawer. For the MF tray, insert the paper into the front opening.

How to connect the printer to the network?

Connect an Ethernet cable to the network connector on the back of the printer. Turn it on then configure the IP address via the menu Network > TCP/IP Setup (IPv4 or IPv6). You can also use the Command Center RX from your browser.

How to replace a toner cartridge?

Open the front cover, unlock the lever of the empty cartridge, remove it. Take the new cartridge out of its packaging, insert it until it clicks. Close the cover. The machine performs automatic calibration.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Check the location indicated on the screen: MF tray, drawers, or rear cover. Open the relevant cover, gently remove the stuck paper following the paper path direction. Close and the printer will resume printing.

How to enable duplex printing?

In the print driver (Windows or Mac), select the Duplex or 2-sided option. You can also set it as default in the printer's Print Settings menu.

How to print from a USB flash drive?

Insert the USB flash drive into the port on the front of the printer. On the panel, go to USB Memory > Print File. Select the file and start printing.

How to configure private printing?

From your computer, in the print properties, choose Job Box > Private Print. Assign a password. The job will be stored on the printer and you can start printing after authentication.

How to reduce toner consumption?

Enable EcoPrint mode in the print settings (driver or menu). This uses less toner and is suitable for draft documents. You can also print in draft mode.

How to update the firmware?

Log in via the Command Center RX (IP address in your browser). Go to Management Settings > Firmware Update. Follow the instructions to download and install the new version.

How to configure printer security?

In Command Center RX, go to Security Settings. You can enable user authentication, SSD data encryption (if installed), secure protocols (HTTPS, IPSec), and limit access by interface blocking.

1 Software shall mean the digitally encoded, machine readable, scalable outline data as encoded in a special format as well as the UFST Software.
