How to load paper in tray 1?

Remove the tray, adjust the guides, insert paper with the print side down, then replace the tray. For more details, refer to the chapter Loading Paper.

How to replace the toner cartridge?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new one by turning slightly, then close the cover. The manual states that used toner must be returned to the dealer.

How to set the printer's IP address?

Press the System Menu key, select [Network Settings] > [TCP/IP Settings] > [IPv4 Settings], then choose DHCP or enter a static IP address. Restart the network card after change.

How to scan to a shared folder on a PC?

Create a shared folder on the PC with the proper permissions, then configure the destination in the printer's address book. Use the Send to Folder (SMB) function.

How to clear a paper jam in the duplex unit?

Open the front cover and back cover, gently remove the jammed paper following the arrows. Refer to the Troubleshooting chapter for specific locations.

How to enable duplex printing by default?

In the System Menu, go to [Default Settings] > [Printer] > [Duplex] and select [Enabled] or [Flip on long edge/short edge] as desired.

How to use the EcoPrint function to save toner?

During copying, press [Function Menu], select [EcoPrint], then enable it. In default mode, it can be configured in the print settings.

How to send a scanned document via email?

Place the original, press [Send], enter the email address manually or from the address book, then press [Start]. Ensure the SMTP server is configured in Command Center RX.

How to check the remaining toner level?

Press the [Status/Job Cancel] key, then select [Cartridge Status]. The level will be displayed on the screen. You can also print a status page from the Report menu.

How to reset to factory settings?

In the System Menu, go to [System Restart] or use Command Center RX via the [Reset] option in management settings. Caution: this erases all custom settings.

1 Software shall mean the digitally encoded, machine readable, scalable outline data as encoded in a special format as well as the UFST Software.
