For your comfort and safety, your appliance has been checked at every step of manufacturing and has successfully gone through all our tests of quality. WHITE & BROWN creates original products to please you, as far as design and easiness to use are concerned in order to give you complete satisfaction.

CAUTION

READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

  • Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage.
  • Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
  • Keep out of children and irresponsible people.
  • Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
  • From time to time, check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any sign of damage.
    Always plug on a earthed socket.
  • The power cord have to be placed far away from any heating source.
  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning or replacement of any pieces. Allow it to cool before ranging or cleaning.
  • Never immerse the electrical part in water or any other liquid for any reasons.
  • Do not use outside.
  • Place the appliance on a level flat surface, far away from ovens, electric or gas burners or any heating source.
  • Never use near flammable materials such as curtains, draperies, walls, cabinets...
  • Never touch the hot parts of the appliance when operating. Use the insulated handles to hold the pans.
    Always clean the appliance after using.
  • Never use any fuel or briquettes.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging.
  • Clean the grill and the pans in warm, soapy water before use. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Wipe the stone with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Do never immerse base nor power cord. Do not immerse the cooking stone, nor brush it with abrasives.
  • Before the first use, lightly oil the cooking stone and wipe with an absorbing paper.
  • When first use, a little smoke may occur. It disappears a few minutes later.

USE

  • Set the appliance on a flat level surface, heating resistant, allowing a free space of 15cm all around.
  • Set the grill, the stone and the pans.
  • Plug the power cord to an earthed socket.
  • Set the desired temperature using the thermostat.
  • Let pre-heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • When the appliance is ready, you can begin to cook small parts of raclette cheese in the pans.
  • In the same time, you can broil pieces of meat, fish or vegetables on the grill, or reheating potatoes.
  • On the cooking stone, you can cook minced meat, fish or vegetables.
  • When cooking is finished, remove the pans. Set the thermostat on "min" position.
  • Unplug.
  • Wait for the appliance to be perfectly cooled before removing any part of it.

NOTES:

  • Please use the provided spatulas to serve from pans, so as to prevent any damage on the non-stick coating.

CLEANING

  • Unplug and let the appliance cool completely before cleaning.
  • Carefully remove any grease using a smooth absorbent cloth.
  • Do not clean any part of the unit with abrasive cleaners e.g. souring powders, scouring pads, wire wool, washing soda or bleach.
  • Pans and grill may be washed in hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly. They are also dishwasher safe.
  • Do not immerse power cord nor cooking stone.
  • Brush the perfectly cooled stone with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Wipe the base with a dry cloth.
  • Do not wash the power cord.
