CAUTION

READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

• Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
• Keep out of children or incompetent persons. Do not allow them to play with the appliance.
• This appliance should not be used by people (and children) whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities are reduced, or without experience and knowledge, except if a person responsible for their security can supervise or give preliminary instructions for product use.
• Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
• Never immerse the product in water or any liquid for any reasons. This appliance must be placed in a dry environment.
• Do not use if you have wet hands.
• Place the appliance on a plane and steady surface.
• Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
• Never move or unplug the appliance by pulling the cord.
• Before storing or cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is unplugged from the power supply and that it is completely cooled.
• Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
• The cord length of this product has been designed to reduce the risk of fall. If needed, an extension cord may be used. Do not let it hung over the working area and make sure no-one can accidentally trip over it.
• Only use accessories supplied with the appliance and recommended by White&Brown.
• From time to time, check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance show any sign of damage.
• All interventions made by a non-qualified person can be dangerous; in this case guarantee conditions would cancel. As all electrical products, a competent electrician must repair it..

SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATION

• Set the appliance on a flat level surface, heating resistant, allowing a free space of 15 ~cm all around.
• Prepare the surface of the appliance by applying a thin coat of cooking oil and wipping over with paper towelling. Re-seasoning is recommended every few months.
• Take care when using the appliance to avoid any risk of burning.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging.
• Clean the grill, the pans, and the spatulas in warm soapy water before use. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

USE

• Set the grill and the pans.
• Plug the power cord.
• Switch on the appliance pressing 0/I switch on I position. Light indicator lights on. The appliance starts heating.
• Let pre-heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
• When the appliance is ready, you can begin to cook small parts of raclette cheese in the pans.
• At the same time, you can broil pieces of meat, fish or vegetables on the grill, or reheating potatoes.
• Switch off the appliance (0/1 switch on 0 position). Light indicator switches off.
• Unplug the appliance.
• Let the appliance cooled down before removing it.

NOTES:

• Unpleasant smell or temporary smoke can occur during initial use. This is normal and it disappears a few minutes later.
• Please use the provided spatulas to serve from pans, in order to prevent any damage on the non-stick coating.

CLEANING

• Unplug and let the appliance cool completely.
• Carefully remove any grease using a smooth absorbent cloth.
• Do not clean any part of the unit with abrasive cleaners e.g. souring powders, scouring pads, wire wool, washing soda or bleach.
• Clean pans, grill and spatulas with soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. They can be washed in dishwasher.
• Clean the base with a dry cloth.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.

Instructions on environment protection

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods of disposal. The materials are recyclable as mentioned in its marking.

By recycling or others forms of re-utilization of old appliances, you are making an important contribution to protect our environment.
