CAUTION

PLEASE READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.

• Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage. Check your main earth socket with a minimum rating of 16 A only with a circuit breaker. Any error in connecting the appliance invalidates the guarantee.
• Connect the product only to alternating current (the line tension must be compliant with the technical data on the product). The product is shielded according to the CE 89/336 Directive.

Attention! If you want to use at the same time the steam ironing board with the active steam suction and blowing and the steam station with the steam smoothing iron, be sure that the electric connection and the possible extension cable support the 16 A. Only use regulation extension cables.

• If the product plug is not suitable for the socket, a technician must replace it.
• The electrical safety of the product is guaranteed only if it is connected according to the specific norms.
• The manufacturer shall have no liability in case of damages caused by an incorrect grounding of the product.
• Do not place the water filled product in rooms with a temperature of 0^ or lower.
• Be sure about the integrity of the product after the package opening. If you are in doubt do not use the product.
• The package material (plastic bag, polystyrene, etc.) can be dangerous and children must not touch it.
• If possible, do not use adaptors, multiple jacks, and/or extensions. If it is necessary to use them, only use adaptors, multiple jacks, and/or extensions in compliance with the safety laws and never exceed the maximum power indicated on the adaptor.
• During the heating or cooling phase it is possible to hear some noises coming from the boiler that are normal for the steel dilation.
• The steam complete ironing station only can be used in dry rooms and not outside. It must be placed on a safe and flat surface.
• Always place the smoothing iron on the silicon base.

Attention!
Do not touch the electrical cables with the smoothing iron hot plate.

Disconnect the supply cable:
-every time you go out from the room
-before any cleaning and maintenance operation
-before the boiler topping up
-after use

• Do not use the steam complete ironing station when the product, the supply cable or the connection cable are damaged. If the supply cable of the smoothing iron and/or steam station steam is damaged call the authorized customer service. Any wear signs of the supply cable winding material are normal and do not damage.
• Do not leave the product unattended while it is connected to the electric line.
• An electrical product is not a toy for children. Use and keep the steam complete ironing station away from children. Do not let the connecting cable hangs down.
• Do not introduce any object into the product openings.
• Take the supply cable directly from the pin and do not pull it.
• The smoothing iron hot surface, in particular the inferior part, and the bodies of the steam station and ironing board, can be very hot in special conditions.

Avoid touching them.

• Do not place wet or humid cloths to dry on the hot ironing board because condensate can appear.

Attention! The replaced smoothing iron is hot. Burning risk occurs if it is not correctly used.

• The product contains steam under pressure. Never open the safety cap! it is necessary to read first the "commissioning" indications.

Attention! In case of faulty or lost safety cap, it only can be replaced with an original one.

• When topping up the steam generator it is absolutely necessary to disconnect the ironing board from the power line. Do not expose the product to atmospheric agents.
• For the cleaning, disconnect first the pin, then let the product cools and clean the surface with an humid cloth.
• Never unhook the locking handle of the board height regulation (10), while the smoothing iron is on the supporting base. It could fall down and the ironing board could close.

• Not correct repairs can be very dangerous for the user and revoke the warranty rights. Attention! The product repairing and inspection operations should be carried out only by the authorized technical assistance centre.
• When the product is be eliminated it is necessary to make it unusable (for example by cutting the supply cable or the pin).
• If the product is not used in the correct way the manufacturer is not responsible for possible damages.

By using electrical appliances it is necessary to follow some rules.

IN PARTICULAR:

• Never touch the product with wet or humid hands or feet and do not put it into water.
• Do not pull the supply cable with wet or humid hands or feet.
• Do not put the product under the tap to fill the boiler.
• In case of overheating of the steam generator a safety thermo-fuse automatically turns off the product for safety reasons. To restart it, it is necessary to bring it in an authorized technical assistance centre.
• Do not direct the steam toward persons because it could be dangerous.
• Do not iron on wet surfaces but only humid.
• After ironing let the unit cools completely before putting the smoothing iron away.
• Do not mix water for the steam station with spot remover or similar, for example chemical substances or perfumes.
• The steam complete ironing station must not be moved during use.
• Wind the ironing board cable and the steam station cable without flexing them too much.

Pay attention to the cable breaking.

ATTENTION!

If it is necessary to change some parts of the steam complete ironing station, only use original spare parts.

• Only use this appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. Never use for any other purposes.
• Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid for any reasons. Respect the instructions for cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
• Do introduce neither sharp metallic objects, nor fingers inside the appliance.
• It is not recommended to use adapters, multiple sockets or extension cord. If necessary use an extension cord or a multiple adapter corresponding to current safety legislation making sure the power limit indicated on the adapter is not exceeded. Take cautions with the extension cord and place it where nobody could accidentally pull or trip over it.
• Ensure that the power supply cable does not hang down from the work surface as it could be easily pulled, particularly by small children, thereby causing serious accidents.
• If the cord or the plug is getting more and more hot, contact a qualified electrician.
• Never repair the appliance yourself. All interventions made by a non-qualified person can be dangerous; in this case guarantee conditions would be cancelled. As well as the change of the cord has to be done by a competent electrician.

Special recommendations:

• Packaging (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc) must never be left within reach of children as it represents a hazard.
• In case of malfunction and / or faulty operation, switch the appliance off and contact a qualified person.
• Never leave water in the appliance where rooms temperatures are less than or equal to 0^ C .
• If you decide to stop using the appliance, after unplugging from the mains, render it unusable by cutting the power cable.
• The power cable must never be in contact with the soleplate of the iron.
• Never use the appliance in bath and shower rooms.
• Never put the appliance under the tap to fill with water.
• Keep the appliance completely cooled before storing it.
• The boiler must never be moved during operation.
• Never unscrew the boiler cap when the appliance is plugged into the mains.
• For models with a steel tank, heating and cooling of the tank may produce noises due to the normal expansion of the stainless steel.

USEFUL ADVICE TO USE THE STEAM STATION

• This ironing board allows you to make optimum use of your ironing system :
• Fabrics dry quickly.
• Steam is not blown towards the person who is doing the ironing.
• The forming of condensation is prevented.
• The vacuuming force virtually glues the fabric to the board, making ironing more effective.

The blowing force creates a pocket of air under the cover of the board, making it easier to iron more delicate fabrics. In this mode take care to use the iron gently and avoid to contact with the board.

Vacuuming, and blowing active table : benefits and features

• Easy to move, light.
• When folded its size is very compact.
• It comes fitted with an exclusive features that allows it to be easily unfolded and positioned for use, and folded again with no effort.
  Fitted with a handle and castors for easy carrying.
• Power cable fit in a special compartment.
• A safety thermostat prevents overheating.

Useful advices

• The original appearance and softness of velvet, wool or similar materials as well as glove and bags etc. can be restored by holding the iron a few cm above the fabric whilst pressing the steam button.
• Carpets or rugs can be restored to new, eliminating marks left by furniture resting on them, by penetrating the flattened area with steam and then brushing lightly.
• Never rest or use the iron on zips, hooks, rings etc as this could scratch the plate.
• The surface of the plate must be kept clean. To clean, wipe the cold surface with a damp cloth. Never treat the iron with descending agent.
• After use, always wait for the iron to cool before putting it away. Keep attention not to let the cables touch the hot parts of the appliance.
• If the appliance is not used for a long time it is suggested, before ironing, to press the steam supply button for 30 seconds putting the iron on a cloth; this to clean the internal tubes of the appliance.
• Store the appliance in a dry place.
• After ironing water left in the boiler need not to be emptied.
• Divide garments according to the required ironing temperature, starting with those which require the coolest temperature.
• Silk can be dry ironed on the wrong side.
• Wool, cotton and fine linen fabrics can be steam ironed on the wrong side or alternatively on the right side with a thin layer of material between the fabric to be ironed and the iron to avoid "shine". Starched fabrics require a higher humidity. Iron white and light fabrics on the right side and dark colours on the wrong side. Iron embroidery on the wrong side to make it stand out.
• Linen can be steam ironed, steaming abundantly and ironing dark fabrics only on the wrong side to avoid "shine". Iron lapels, cuffs and turn-ups on the right side to make them stand out.
• Each time you use the iron (and when you use it for the first time) or if you have not used steam for several minutes, push the steam button repeatedly. This eliminates cold water from the steam circuit.

ADVICE TO USE THE ACTIVE TABLE IN BEST CONDITIONS

VACUUMING	- Presses the clothing down flat, getting rid of unwanted wrinkles. - Helps to dry the clothing during ironing. - Improves the passage of the steam through the fibres, reducing time necessary and improving ironing results. - Removes excess steam in the ironing surface, thus eliminating any nuisance for the user. - Guarantees a cool and humidity-free ironing environment. - It is advisable to do this frequently but for short periods. - A correct balance of vacuuming and blowing allows the ironing surface to stay warm and dry.	- shirts - creased trousers - pleated skirts - jackets - tablecloths
BLOWING	- By inflating the fabric, this function allows the ironing of delicate materials or some unique articles of clothing on a cushion of air, thereby eliminating the risk of creating wrinkles. - Do not make too much pressure in order not to flatten the cushion of air with the iron.	- trousers - men's jackets (sleeves, liners) - normal skirts - T-shirts - Ties - Covers - Delicate materials and fabric - Velvet

COMMISSIONING

Before the first commissioning it is absolutely necessary to assemble the feet.

For this operation, lay the ironing board and fix the feet to the legs as shown in the side figures. (to see figures A-B-C)

• The steam complete ironing station must be placed on a firm and solid surface and in a balance position.
• Take the ironing board with two hands in the right and left side and place it in the correct position by means of the positioning lever [10]: lift the lever [10] with a hand and lift completely the board. When you hear the click noise the board is locked. The steam ironing board can be adjustable at 6 different heights (maximum height 100cm ).
• Unroll the supply cable [1] of the ironing board.

• Place the smoothing iron on the silicon rubbers [19] of the steam station only.
• Place the hose holding antenna [25] on the steam station as shown.
• Introduce the connecting flexible hose [18] into the supporting antenna.

Pay attention to the supply cable [1] and the connecting flexible hose [17] that must not get stuck or bend.

• Before the product commissioning, remove the red plastic cap from the boiler filling hole and screw the safety cap [11].

• For the topping up operate as follows:

• Fill the bottle with water.
• Unscrew the safety cap from the filler. If the steam station was working, open the safety cap [11] of 1 / 2 turn paying attention, to come out the steam slowly and then unscrew it completely.
• Pour about 1 litre of water into the boiler. Place the water filled bottle into the boiler filler vertically by laying it and do not press.
  Then, press down softly to let the water comes out from the cap. When there are no more air bubbles the boiler is full.

Avoid filling the boiler too much (1 litre maximum). If you fill it too much it could be possible that water comes out (instead of steam) from the smoothing iron plate.

• Screw the safety cap to avoid any uncontrolled steam leak.

It is possible to use both cold and hot water from the tap.

To improve the life of your steam station we suggest you to always use demineralised water. The tap water contains a lot of limestone so it is necessary to use demineralised water.

If you do not know the water degree of hardness of your home, call your aqueduct department. Do not use chemical substances or scale preventers or ironing water residuals in addition of water. This could damage the ironing station and the smoothing iron.

• Introduce the pin of the supply cable [1] of the ironing board into a socket.
• Introduce the steam station pin into the relevant pin placed in the inferior part of the board.
• Turn on the resistance by means of the ON/OFF main switch [5], in this way the steam station is started.

Wait few minutes until the smoothing iron surface is hot.

• Turn on the ironing board suction/blowing motor by means of the ON/OFF switch [6].
• It is necessary to start it frequently but for short periods to eliminate the vaporization residuals on the ironing board and inside the hull-support that supports it. This guarantees an ironing board hot and dry.

STEAM SUCTIONING (push the switch [6] on the right)

it permits a cloths ironing with no creases.

• The ironing board remains dry during ironing.
• It improves the steam passage through the fibres so it reduces the times and the ironing is better.
• The excessive steam is sent down, so the user can iron peacefully.
• It avoids an humidity accumulation inside the room.

BLOWING FUNCTION (PRESS THE SWITCH [6] ON THE LEFT)

• With the blowing function it is possible to iron with no creases cloths and delicate cloths like, for example, lined jackets, on an air pillow.

• Turn on first the smoothing iron switch [12] and then the boiler starting switch [13].
  Follow the sequence correctly.
• Then wait few minutes until the green pilot light of "steam ready" [14] is on.

Attention: the steam station can be started only when in the boiler there is enough water (but max 1,0l.)

It is suggested to top up the water before every ironing. This permits to avoid the waiting times for the topping up during ironing.

• Place the smoothing iron temperature regulator [20] on the level near the steam symbol (Fig. 8).
• When the pilot light [22] turns off, the smoothing iron can be used. By pressing the steam emission button [21], the steam comes out from the smoothing iron plate.
• The ironing board with steam active suctioning and the steam station with the steam smoothing iron can be used separately.

Fix the smoothing iron on the base by means of the fixing belt [23].
- Activate the closing hook on the front edge of the steam station [24] and slide it along the sliding bars.

• Introduce the supply cable pin [1] into a socket.
• To start the resistance and the steam active suction of the ironing board, operate as previously described. At this point the ironing board can also be used with a traditional steam smoothing iron.

• To use the steam steam station separately from the ironing board, introduce the pin into a socket directly and then operate as described previously.
• To use it correctly, it is necessary that the steam station is in a balance position!

• To use once again the ironing board and the steam station together, activate its closing hook and push it along the sliding bars of the ironing board until the hook is fixed.

• During the smoothing iron first starting, a formation of smoke and a light smell of burn can be considered as normal. The reason is the adjustment of the gaskets and material according to the temperature. For this reason it is suggested to do not direct the first steam blasts toward the cloth to iron, but toward another cloth.
• During the ironing some drops of water with steam can come out because the correct temperature has not be reached yet or because there is condensate water into the feed hose.
• To reach a good ironing level it is suggested to press the steam button [21] intermittently to vaporize and dry the cloth. dampen the cloths with steam and fix them without steam.

• It is possible to dose the steam outlet as you like by means of the steam quantity regulator [16]. The "steam ready" pilot light [14] turns off during the steam ironing and turns on during the interval when it is not used.
• During the ironing do not place the smoothing iron temperature regulator [20] below the area that indicates the steam, or else some water could come out from the smoothing iron plate.
• During the ironing without steam it is necessary to place the smoothing iron temperature regulator [20] according to the type of cloth to iron.

If during ironing it is necessary to top up the water, operate as follows:

• The water missing pilot light [15] turns on. Turn off the steam generator by means of the ON/OFF switch [13].
• Let the steam comes out by pressing the steam emission button [21]. Turn off the smoothing iron by means of the switch [12].
• Turn off the ironing board by means of the switches [5] and [6] and disconnect the pin. Press the safety cap [11] down and open it of half turn carefully (so the present pressure can come out).

ATTENTION:

After a long use of the station, the cap could be very hot. Let the station cools or use a cloth to unscrew the cap.

• Let the station cools for two minutes, top up the water and restart the station.

SWITCHING OFF AND COSERVATION

• Turn off the steam station ON/OFF switches [12], [13] and the ironing board ON/OFF switches [5], [6]. The checking lights turn off.
• Disconnect the steam station and ironing board pins [1], [17] from the socket.
• Let the product cools completely.

• Remove the hose holding antenna [25].
  Fix the supply cable [17], the connecting flexible hose [18] and the smoothing iron on the smoothing iron supporting base by means of the fixing belt [23].
• Take the ironing board with two hands and close it by using the lever [10].
• The ironing board and the steam station can be kept divided.
• For this reason, activate the closing hook on the steam station [24] front side and slide it along the sliding bars. Use the handle to transport.

• The ironing board can be put away in the close position.
• Place the board with high wheels to avoid that it falls.

The board can be put away in the open position. In this case to transport it, it is necessary to lift it and pull it softly by taking it from the point.

• The steam station and the ironing board must be turned off and the supply cable must be disconnecte.

Instructions on environment protection

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods of disposal.

The materials are recyclable as mentioned in its marking. By recycling or others forms of re-utilization of old appliances, you are making an important contribution to protect our environment.
