Proper use
- The vibration sieve can be used in the home and garden for sieving materials to be separated (compost, top soil, pebbles/sand).
- Proper use includes adherence to the operating, maintenance and repair instructions of the manufacturer and observance of the safety instructions they contain.

Any other utilisation counts as improper, especially use with foodstuffs. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting in improper use, the user alone shall for the risk
Residual risks
Even when properly used, there are still acceptable risks to be borne, despite the observance of all pertinent safety instructions, owing to the design, which is determined by the intended purpose:
- Danger resulting from electric current, if improper connecting wires are used.
- Touching live parts when electric components are open.
- Furthermore, there may be acceptable risks which are not readily obvious, despite all precautions.
- Acceptable risks can be minimised if the operating instructions, the "safety instructions" and "proper use" are observed.
Safe working
STOP
Take note of the following instructions to protect yourself and others from hazards and injuries.
- Observe local accident prevention and safety regulations in the work area.
- The operator is responsible for third parties in the work area.
- Keep children away from machine.
- Persons younger than 16 years of age are not allowed to operate the machine.
- Be sure that there is enough light.
- All dangerous parts have been covered with safeguards for your protection. Do not modify or remove the safeguards.
- Never modify the machine or parts thereof.
- Only start up the machine if the protective devices are complete and undamaged.
- Always fix tightly tilting angle control during storage, transport and operation.
- Faulty or damaged parts in the device must be replaced immediately.
- Set up and run the machine on a solid, level base only (where it will not tip over).
- Make sure that there is no danger of tripping near the machine.
- Only use the machine for the functions listed in "Proper use".
- Wear protective goggles and eye protection while working with the machine.
- Do not spray machine with water (this is hazardous due to live components).
- Do not leave the machine standing in the rain or use when raining. Store the machine in a dry place.
-
Be absolutely sure to pull the plug before:
-
adjust the angle
- moving or transport
- cleaning, maintenance or repair work

Electrical safety
- Connecting attachments must be designed in conformance with IEC 245-4:1980
(DIN 57 282) and marked H 07 RN-F, or comparable models. Cross section of wires at least 3 × 1.5 ~mm^2 up to a maximum length of 50 ~m . Wire cross-section at least 2.5 ~mm^2 for lengths of more than 50 ~m . - Use only connecting attachments with a rubber plug device that is protected against spraying water .
-
Check connecting attachments for defects or ageing before using them.
-
Never use defective connecting attachments.
- When laying the connecting attachments, be sure that they do get crushed or bent, and that the plug-and-socket connection does not get wet.
- Do not use any provisional electrical connections.
- Never bridge over protective devices or put them out of operation.
- Connect the machine using a fault current protection switch.
A licensed professional electrician must make all electrical connections and repairs, and observe local regulations in doing so, especially those regarding protective measures.
The manufacturer or a company designated by the manufacturer must attend to the repair of all electrical parts on the machine.
Start up

Observe all safety instructions.
- Check that the machine is completely and correctly assembled.
- Set the machine on a solid, level base.
- Connect the machine to an appropriate and correctly wired electric socket.
-
Only use extension leads with sufficient diameters:
-
cable up to 50 metres: diameter at least 1,5 ~mm^2 .
-
cable over 50 metres: diameter at least 2,5mm^2
-
Fuse protection: 10 A
-
Before using the machine, make sure each time that
-
there are no faulty connections
- all screws are tight
- whether tilting angle control is properly tightened.
Switching on and off
red 0 = OFF
green = ON
Switch the motor on and off only at the switch.
In the event of a power failure, the machine will switch off automatically. Press the switch again to restart the machine.
Motor protection
The motor is equipped with a thermostat. The thermostat switches the motor off automatically in the event of overload (overheating). The machine can be restarted after a cooling-off period.
Sieving
What can I sieve?
The vibration sieve is suitable for sieving materials to be separated at home and in the garden.
For example, sieving
- larger pieces of unrecompensed waste in the compost
- stones and roots from the top soil
- pebbles or rubble from sand
Please note:
Sieving is only effective for properly settled compost
- Moist to wet materials are harder to sieve than dry materials
Angle
The vibration sieve can be adjusted variably to different angles for various graduations of the sieved material:
from 0^ to 15^
→
larger pieces
from 15^ to 30^
medium pieces
from 30^ to 45^
fine pieces

Procedure
Adjust the angle according to the material being sieved. Caution: disconnect from the mains first!
Place your wheelbarrow, basket etc. under the vibration sieve and place on the ejection side. This makes it easier for you to transport the sieved material.
Only fill the vibration sieve when the motor is running.
Fill the vibration sieve evenly to obtain better sieving results. By filling the sieve evenly, the larger pieces are continually pushed over to the ejection side.
Maintenance and Care

Disconnect from the mains!
Generally vibration sieves require little maintenance. To maintain their efficiency and a long life, observe the following:
- After you have finished sieving, clean the machine.

- Slightly grease polished metal components with an environment-friendly spray oil as protection against corrosion.
Repair

Disconnect from the mains!
- Protective devices removed for repairs must be properly remounted before starting the machine.
- Only the manufacturer or companies authorised by the manufacturer may perform repair work on electrical parts or on parts which affect the space needed to mount electrical equipment.
- Use only unaltered original spare parts. Otherwise, the manufacturer will assume no liability.
Storage
- In order to prolong the service life of the machine and guarantee easy operation, it should be cleaned thoroughly before being stored for a longer period of time.
- Store in a dry place only.
- The machine can be folded down to save space. Tighten the screws firmly.

Guarantee
- We guarantee this machine for two years from the time of delivery from the dealer's warehouse for deficiencies resulting from faulty material or fabrication.
- The dated invoice counts as evidence for guarantee claims.
- Warranty claims, even during the warranty period, will not be accepted for damages due to incorrect handling or inadequate packaging during return of the devices or to a non-observation of the operating instructions.
- We shall attend to any necessary warranty work. Our express approval is required if another company is intended to eliminate the damage.
- The guarantee does not cover normal wear to: drive, belt, corrugated screen, oscillation rubbers, transport wheels and relevant fixing components.
- Defective parts must be sent to our plant carriage paid or postage paid. We reserve the right to decide whether to provide spare parts free of charge.
- The guarantee only applies if original spare parts are used.
- We reserve the right to make alterations on the grounds of technical advances.
Operational faults
| Problem | Possible cause | Elimination |
| Motor does not start | - no mains voltage - defective connection cable | - check fuse - have it inspected (electrician) |
| Motor turns over, but does not start | - defective capacitor | - have machine repaired by manufacturer or approved company |
| Motor starts, but becomes blocked on encountering even slight pressure, and is switched off via motor safety switch. | Extension cable too long, or cross-section too small. Socket too far away from main connection, and cross-section of connection lead too small. | Extension cable at least 1,5 mm², maximum 25 m long. Cross-section of at least 2,5 mm² in longer cables. |
